Nice place. Pretty clean inside and the ramen was good. The chashu in particular was delicious. I would eat here again.

Fantastic food and service!!! I’m here on a work trip and it was recommended not only from my shop but from a customer in the convenience store next door. Was greeted with a big smile right when I walked in. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone . I’ll be back for sure!

What a pleasant surprise!! Housemade tonkatsu broth and seasonings makes this ramen really special! It’s available as bone-broth to take home too! It’s really apparent he takes a lot of pride in his product and the service is outstanding. The owner James, included seasoning (no msg!) and instructions so I could make ramen at home! But he also showed me the hours-long process and the chasu boiling away for hours in the kitchen! I highly recommend a visit, many visits! This is an oasis in the food desert that is Gladstone/Jennings. 5⭐️

Was looking for a new teriyaki place along McLoughlin and think I've found my spot. I got the teriyaki bento. The portion size was very decent and everything tasted good. I'll be coming back and will start to explore the menu a bit as there are many options available. The service was also great.

My family and I LOVE eating here! My husband and I get the Spicy Miso Ramen.. and oh my goodness! I could eat it all day! My kid's love getting the classic teriyaki chicken with rice. The owner is super nice and has great customer service! I definitely recommend!

Been coming here for a long while. Left for about 6 months come back to eat and it tastes more like bbq now. The sauce is thick and bbq flavored.
Younger guy was not that nice when I asked about the owner, just rubbed me oddish and uncomfortable.
I pushed 1 for no tip and it charged me $4.16 for a tip anyways. I won’t be coming back now. The food has went pretty down below Panda Express grade, service poor,
I feel like I was ripped off from a no tip button.

My wife and I came in today for lunch. I had the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and she had the chicken yakisoba. Both were super flavorful and generous portions! The restaurant itself is very clean. The gentleman who took our order and brought our food (I’m assuming the owner) was super friendly and I could tell that he took immense pride in his food. We only live half a mile away and we are sad it took us almost two years to try this place! We will definitely be back!

There are many teriyaki places in Oregon, but what makes this place unique is the ramen as there are very few far in between in Milwaukie. The broth from the Tonkotsu ramen is the best I've had thus far, and I've visited countless ramen places here in Oregon in multiple cities, this taste comes closest to how I remember it to be in Japan and got me thinking back about my travels there. Whether it was boxer ramen, afuri or ikazaya, I've been to many, this is also one of the few places to serve the mapo tofu ramen dish in Oregon, something you can find in Japan and missing from a lot of ramen places, well worth visiting just for this dish alone. Proportion and taste of the ramen is for the most part very good. It's the summer, I think their water station could use ice for a more refreshing experience as it heats up and hopefully a takeout option for their ramen as that will get them far.
