One of the most solid counterserve Mexican restaurant joints in Milwaukie. Nothing fancy but solid execution.

Staff are always friendly and fun. Open 24 hours. Patio seating is nice. Somewhat limited seating inside.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child and have since moved away. I still come to town just to eat here on occasion. I came this morning to get lunch and the lady at the counter was super rude. I got two green salsa, two red and was just putting them in my to-go bag when she rudely said, “just 4 salsas for your order!” — I replied telling her I only took 4 and if she wants, I can pay.. I don’t mind paying if there’s a limit on sauce.. I’ve never been told there was when dining in or getting orders to go.. But how embarrassing. I’ve never had someone stop me like that.. I even tipped and I wasn’t even dining there — this was my first time talking to her too. I originally talked to a nice gentleman who had taken my order.
I’ll probably be back — but not for a while. Maybe this lady was having a bad day, but she looked so pissed off at me.. and that was unnecessary. I work in the service industry too and that’s not how you talk to people.. Maybe next time let the customer know in advance while you’re ringing them up at the register instead of when they’re in the middle of getting their salsa after some time has passed since you’ve handed them their order..

I finally had the opportunity to dine here for lunch and the food is simply superb. I expect to return to this restaurant more frequently. I hope the cashier experiences an improvement in her day.

The food here has never disappointed me. It is delicious! Great for takeout! They have grilled onions and jalapenos, which most Mexican restaurants will charge you for!

Hate to let the word out but quietly this is the best Mexican food in all of Portland. Make sure you go inside and get some radishes and carrots, so good!

I want to comment on my bad experience. The person who took my order today called 13 minutes before. When I arrived, they didn't have my order. The lady without glasses kept mopping the floor and there was no sign on the floor. When I poured sauces, she told me I had too much sauce. Arrogant lady, very bad service.

Our food was wrong. It took them so long to replace it, the other dish was cold. I offered to buy a new one so it was hot. I was told no.

They can be really busy and so it could be a little bit of a wait for food. They are open 24 hours, and that is a huge plus because it’s really hard to find some good quality food in the middle of the night. Service can be slow. It is really small place. I would recommend picking up your food inside and taking it wherever you’re gonna go eat. A little bit loud in the place because it’s so small and busy.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a wheelchair accessible, but it’s a really small space so it could be really inconvenient for somebody who is in a wheelchair or needs assistance. They also have a drive-through open 24 hours.
