Stopped there on bike trip, grandson had wings and fries.I had a burger.Im 70 years old and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had.
Stopped by after exploring the painted hills, there were 3 of us and a dog we sat outside and the staff was so kind, they gave our dog a doggie bowl of water. The food was amazing, best wings I've had in my life i think about driving the 3 hour drive just to have them. the sweet potato fries and cheese cake were amazing and I highly recommend both. Everything came out hot. They were pretty busy when we got there but got all our food and drinks in around 10-15 minutes. It is on the expensive side but very much worth it and would go again in a heartbeat!
The burger was great. Service for the middle of nowhere was good also. Beer was OK
Really good food, the wings and burger were delicious plus the server was so friendly!
Both Chad and the burger were awesome. Glad I made the pit stop.
Seriously impressive.
We had fish and chips, and an order of the jerk chicken wings, totaling $40. Price is very worth it:
All the food tasted very fresh, fish was incredible. Not too much batter, perfectly cooked. Tartar and ranch was awesome and the chips were great too.
Slaw was really yummy.
Everything was really hot temperature wise, nice and crispy too.
Seasoning on the jerk chicken wings, perfect and a good warm spicyness. There is no place in the bend/central Oregon area that beats the fish and chips. Amazing. Staff was super nice and courteous, we will be coming here every time we pass by.
An absolute must stop if you're passing through Mitchell. I got the recommendation from the gal at the natural food store in John's Day that it was a must stop, and in hindsight, it definitely was!
So stpped here yesterday and tried their pale ale that they make there and the blue cheese and butter hot wings and both of them were spectacular- one of the best beers I've ever had, so incredibly fresh, and the wings were also be best if not tied for the best.
Super cool town - so glad I stopped in-awesome ambiance.
The knowledgeable server mentioned the two guys that founded it were Marines, so even more reason to support it, especially with Independence Day around the corner (in God we trust it says on the currency- (not the government).
The fish and chips alone is a reason to stop. Big portion of healthy fish and very good sidewinder fries. I’m always afraid of getting fish and chips because they will be greasy not these. If you have any interest in fish and chips, you must stop here.
It's nice to have a local brew pub in such a small town. The prices seem reasonable for a pour; I had a pretty good blueberry cider from Bandon, tho, not the house beer. I enjoyed the decor. I ended up sitting outside on a chilly evening due to lack of seating/ no effort to seat me indoors, which was not exactly what drew me there. I'll try it again with a friend, but probably should have just gotten something to go. They do can beer on premises! and have cute growlers, and a tiny version called a squealer.
This place is great! Friendly service, excellent food, amazing drinks, comfortable atmosphere and reasonable pricing! I will definitely be stopping in every chance I get! Thank you for an awesome experience!
