One of our favorite places! It always amazes me that one person can be the bartender, the server and the cook! Service is quick, Leanne always has smiles for everyone, and the burgers are amazing!! Thank you!!
Been coming to The Alpine Tavern, albeit infrequently, over the past twenty-plus years. It is located in the middle of nowhere (or, more accurately, the middle of Alpine, pop. 250 or something). Put it this way: you have to make the effort to find it by veering off 99 on your way to hippie-ville Eugene or gentrified Corvallis. If you are in Monroe, you are almost there or just missed the turnoff onto Alpine Rd.

Must.Stop.Here! Such a great little hideaway in the foothills of the coast range. From the road it looks small, But, it has a large outdoor area that is well covered, lighted, seated and tabled as well as an uncovered portion with a horsheshoe pit, corn hole, large jenga set, inside is pool, all free, booths and bar seating, a few lottery machines a digital jukebox. The food is good, as are the drinks. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The locals treat you like a local. All...
