Hidden gem on 26! I got the Snickers mocha, and it was such a treat. The vibe is super laid back and really friendly. Loved all the local art for sale and the books the owner had in her little library. If we’d had more time we would have sat outside on their back patio and read while we enjoyed our drinks. The owner is lovely and we will absolutely be back on our way up to the mountain!

We were staying in Mt Hood for a getaway weekend and came here for coffee both mornings. The coffee is delicious and served perfect temperature. We tried the Ginger & Tiramisu and both were flavorful and not too sweet (which was my worry).
The barista, I think her name is Amber, is a DELIGHT. Personable, funny, and very welcoming. She made us feel at home and like we were old friends.
Will definitely be back when we are in the area. ❤️

Hands down, this is the best spot to enjoy a coffee in the mountains. We ordered a latte and hot chocolate and both were amazing. The latte is definitely one of the best of my life.❤️ The cafe has a vintage vibe which makes the experience even more amazing and the sitting area is super comfy and peaceful. Definitely worth a stop for a quick coffee.

Coffee House 26 is my second living room! I work remotely and love working from this cozy, friendly, beautifully curated coffee shop and bookstore. I’ve purchased several of my favorite books from Amber. She decorates it with a new theme every month. CH26 has the yummiest beans from Proud Mary and the breakfast sandos are fire. Do not miss this shop on your visit to the mountain!
Terrible, watered down coffee. The owner overcharges for her used books. She prices them as if they were brand new. It makes absolutely no sense. The food is awful. Under cooked bagels, pre-packaged baked goods, syrup filled chais and Italian sodas. Lacks flavor, friendliness, character and comfort. Not kid friendly and the owner seems to be annoyed when young children are present. This place could do so much better with a kids play area to accommodate families with small children, fair prices on her used books, actual baked goods, better coffee, a kinder persona and more inclusively for young children. Between the awful, generic food and lack of flavors, the overall attitude of the owner, and extremely inflated prices, this place has been one disappointment after another. Would not recommend.

My family and I recently attended a family wedding near Welches. We were there for four days and went to Coffee House 26 every morning. The vibe is chill, the coffee is delicious, and the people are wonderful. On our second visit, they had already memorized the order for our family of four. Become a regular at Coffee House 26.
