Me and my boyfriend were passing through on a road trip and stopped for food and a beer after a really long day. The bartender was great and made us burgers while chatting with us the whole time. It was a great place to stop and relax after driving. And the burgers were awesome too!
Hats off the Vanessa and the Suds Pub crew (Kenny, Ian)…we stumbled in after a 4-hr drive from Pendleton in nighttime snow storm, and she was so kind and welcoming, offering snacks and advice on where to stay. Rock solid place, good brews and snacks. Stop in and check them out.
Good little spot to grab a drink, and play video poker if you're into that sort of thing. The ladies behind the counter have been very nice (the couple times I've been there) The food is a mix of good homemade and frozen (doesn't bother me a bit, personally) free wifi, a nice shaded deck on the little river that cuts through Mount Vernon. My stops in have been pleasant and I would recommend it.
