Very tasty food with *very* generous portions. We came just before closing time, but they were gracious and accommodating. The food came very quickly (we were the only ones there that late, to be fair). I would say based on the portion size, it was practically enough for two meals so it was a good value.

This place was recommended to me by a long time resident. It was one of the worst Mexican restaurants, if not the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I live in San Diego CA so I know what Mexican food should taste like and how it should be prepared. Food was overpriced. After trying to be charged me over $60, I modified my order and got it down to $38. $25 for a carne asada burrito, what? That's crazy! And it was filled with cold rice and refried beans. No pico or cheese. The meat was overcooked and dry. The tortilla was chewy. I asked for a cheese quesadilla and received a tortilla that was chewy. The edges were dried out. And it was a taco sized tortilla. Quesadilla was put on a plate with cold Spanish rice and refried beans, which I didn't ask for! When I walked in and ordered I was told it would be about 10 minutes. I waited just over 30 minutes to get this very disappointed meal that I took home only about 5 minutes away. I don't understand how this place is in business!

Ordered me and my dad lunch today. My quesadilla was good. He got a 2 enchilada meal the enchiladas were plain ground beef wrapped in a corn tortilla w cheese on top. I dont complain usually but enchiladas are supposed to have enchiladas sauce in them or on top neither here. 30 bucks for a chicken quesadilla and 2 enchiladas w rice amd beans, not bad but he didnt eat most of it was tortilla wrapped plain beef. Probably not going back.

We come here pretty often, its one of the places that is local and open a little later and we love that. My boyfriend LOVES the taquitos and i love the pork verde plate. Their mexican cream sauce is like nothing we've had its so good. The waitress is so stinkin sweet and the food is excellent.

The waitress very nice, and gave me a hug and said she would say a prayer for me. I had the shredded beef burrito with sourcream and guacamole it was as big as the plate I could only eat half of it. But it was soo good. I was going to go back tonight but they closed at 9.

I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 4 years and the food has always been pretty good however, they have recently discontinued their lunch specials and their senior menu, while their prices are going up and their credit card charge went from $.50 to $.95. The basket of chips that they give you is pretty small comparable to most mexican restaurants, and you're only allowed one basket for 3 people, which literally there's about five chips for each person and if you want a second basket, it's another $2.25. I understand that food prices are going up and I don't mind paying a fair price but it seems that this place is nickel and diming you.

Absolute perfectly braised pork carnitas. Platter portions were more than ample. Could have had less bean/rice with carnitas and more lettuce/tomatoes to compliment meat entree. Would definitely go back.
