Visiting from Southern California and found this great breakfast/lunch diner. It's only open limited hours during winter. The food was fantastic! You can tell that the is homemade from scratch. There is plenty to eat, so if you leave hungry that's your fault. I had the French toast breakfast. So delicious. Got a side of hash browns and could barely it all. Definitely will return. I'm looking forward to trying their dinner menu.

The family that owns this is fantastic. I called in an order and forgot to ask about timing because I only had a limited time. I brought up my time crunch and within five minutes the food was done. The cheeseburger with fries is a magnificent portion for the price, the chicken strip basket was fantastic too that I had the first time I tried them. Great food, professional and kind people, and great service! Will definitely be back and make sure I am planning out my timing better so I can sit down to enjoy their fantastic food and laid back atmosphere. This is definitely a spot to eat at when in Myrtle Creek.

Had been reading alot of everyone's reviews lately so I thought I'd stop in and try it out. Greasy food, very filthy place. They seem pretty slow. As for the other reviews sounds like all the positive ones are from locals. Sorry Hot Rod Diner, your not as good as you claim.

Awful customer service. Lady always has an attitude on the phone and acts as if taking our order is inconvenient. If staff sees this- do better. Be nice.

The food was just ok. Very bland. The service was horrible. The waitress sucks, very very slow. She makes it very obvious she doesn't care about the customers. The restaurant is beyond filthy. One of the trashiest places I've ever been to. I wouldn't advise wasting your money at this place.
This experience was terrible. We sat and waited for someone/anyone to acknowledge us. After a 13 min wait we left. We did not get a menu or even a glass of water. I would never recommend this place.

This is a gem! We had an incredible experience. Terrific HUGH cheese burger, onion rings so yummy and real fries. When traveling north or south on I-5 take the time, you won’t regret it. Special shout out to the young lady taking drink orders and bringing mustard to the tables, she had a GREAT ATTITUDE! Loved our meal.

We went here and the food was disgusting the waiters had so many dog and cat hair all over them and when we left a couple days after we saw one of our waiters outside with a stick pretending to play baseball and skipping around he was definitely on something
