Great local bar. Drinks are always cold and their menu is actually really good. Burgers are all great, chef salad is always fresh and HUGE, the bayway dip and club sandwich are also favorites. I saw a previous review that said they "don't have a menu" while this might be true- they don't HAND you a menu- they definitely have a large selection that's hand written down on a board and easy to read. Staff is always very friendly and efficient. Friendly patrons and ambiance. Great stop along the 101!

OMG someone posted a picture of JoJos and since I am celebrating a trip around the sun they were a must! The bartender rocked her job and kept up commentary to let people feel relaxed and welcome.The tavern has only just opened. It was already hopping with a few regulars, helps they have slot machines, keno, and power all available for entertainment. They also had pool table and outdoor seating of which we did not avail ourselves - too bad since the place since on the Nahelm River!The JoJos did not make it to a photo - they were super hot and burned my mouth but oh so worth it. Automatically got ketchup and ranch and had not problem proving mustard - mmmm!!!The beer on tap selection is small but has good coverage. They also have a wide variety in cans and bottles, plus cider and wine.Get small town tavern and worth a stop!

The food was tasty. Hubby had a Reuben and I had a Bacon Bleu cheeseburger. The bacon was so thick and yummy.
Great outside patio with typical dive bar service. They do not have a food menu. When asked I was directed to a white board in front of the pool table.

It's a tavern for sure.. FYI it's a 100% locals/red neck place. Didn't know they still sell hams beer lol. No way would I have ever went there to eat but we seen a number of people getting broasted chicken and JoJos so we gave them a try we got it to take crabbing the next day. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Pretty good. I believe that's all they serve. We would definitely get it to go again picnic or something. I won almost $300 on lotto, whoop,whoop

Loved this place. I call it a hole in the wall joint. A popular spot where the locals go to eat, socialize, and solve the pressing issues of the day, such as who has the best jojos( potato wedges) or the best place to go clamming.Angela the bartender and server was friendly, did the job well and had some fun banter about the regulars that were having lunch.The food was great. Our party ordered burgers, beer battered fries, I had a grilled cheese, too die for. They have a beer garden overlooking the water. Everyone was super nice, the place was quiet except for the chatting of the guests. Prices were reasonable, and overall I loved the whole experience. Will definitely return if I'm ever in Nehalem Oregon again.
