A Hidden Gem with a Soul All Its Own 🌟
From the moment you step foot into this winery, you know you’ve discovered something extraordinary. It’s not just a tasting room—it’s an experience woven with heart, soul, and an undeniable passion for wine and people.
The variety of wines is nothing short of exceptional. But don’t expect them to fit neatly into the box of their names. Each pour tells a unique story—familiar varietals that unfold in surprising and unforgettable ways. A cabernet that dances with unexpected flavors, a Pinot Gris that whispers something deeper and sparkles, a chardonnay with layers you never saw coming. These wines have personality and hashtags!! They’re crafted with such intentionality that they almost feel alive.
The atmosphere? Welcoming, vibrant, and full of life. You’re treated like family from the very first greeting. It’s the kind of place where laughter flows as easily as the wine, and where conversations linger long after the last glass.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the owner and staff. This is heart work not just a business. Every person you encounter brings a level of care and 1:1 attention that’s rare in any industry. They take the time to connect, to share the stories behind the wines, and to make sure every guest feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
Whether you’re there for a casual sip, a special occasion, or just need to recharge with something beautiful, this winery delivers an experience that is out of this world. Do yourself a favor and visit—it’s more than a destination. It’s a feeling you’ll carry with you long after you leave.
Thank you for encouraging my passion and affirming my dream!
It’s an intimate casual setting with a hip hop vibe. The Owner Bertony and his assistant Alyssa were gracious hosts. I chose the 5 flights with the charcuterie board.
Amazing place & people! Not only is the wine amazing but the food is too! Cornbread is the best ever! Worth the drive!!
Abbey Creek Winery has a vibe on its own. Depending on the day when you walk through the door you may get greeted by the owner Tony. He is a unique owner with aspiration to show you what hip-hop feels like and tastes like all rolled up into one. Down to the smallest details of his playlist which is the wine tasting down to the Biggie Smalls 101 section he even got a Jay Z Mini setup there's even DJ turntables in a wooden barrel. If you are ever in Portland and you need a place just to chill out listen to good music have a beautiful wine tasting with a vibe hip hop in the background something to touch your soul Abbey Creek Winery is the place to go. There is food as well. We had to creme brulee we have to make another trip for the food experience.
My wine recommendation is the sunshine, flip it and reverse. But for the ultimate Hip Hop Experience have the POPS that bottle of wine oh my God was something you need extraordinary. This wine is a slow sip that is smooth on the tongue. POPS is dedicated to Tony's father and his heritage. The store and the story behind it is so wonderful and heart felt.
Make it a point to stop by Abby's Creek and catch your vibe ?
This winery was an entire vibe from the food to the wine flights to the music. The owner was informative and personal.
I came to Portland for my Birthday weekend and this place did not disappoint! It was a vibe!
Great food! Great wine! Great people!!
What a wonderful find in North Plains! And the wine! Good caliber wine! Wish I had found this place sooner. Highly recommend!
By far my favorite wine tasting. The music, food and owner Bertony make this a must do again experience.
Great vibes, great wine, and great food!! We had such a great and chill time here - and we’ll be back soon with friends!
We came from Texas and looked forward to visiting this black owned winery. I called the day before "Saturday" to ensure walk ins were welcome for Sunday. We arrived at 12:50pm on Sunday only for it to be closed. Excitement went to disappointment in less than 5minutes. Make sure you call ahead before driving to the venue.

What a wonderful place and experience. Wine and food was amazing! The owner did all the pours and sat with us to explain the wine and his craft. Can't wait to bring my restaurant folk in.
Such a great experience. The food, wine and vibe are amazing!
