I love having time to come in here and enjoy their delicious coffee! Each drink is crafted with care and it shows. They have a strong community-first approach and do so much for Oak Grove. I highly recommend you stop by for a cup of coffee and see what I mean!

What a fantastic community hub. I don't even live in Oak Grove, but I'm at Awakening at least twice a week. They've created a special atmosphere and have done so much for their neighborhood, it can't be quantified. I love Awakening Coffee, for both morning coffee and weekend evening events.

I have been to awakening coffee and tap house with my mom. Not only were the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming but so is the environment. This place is more than a coffee shop, it’s a home away from home, it’s a sanctuary. Their vegan pastries and paninis are just the best! If you haven’t gone to awakening yet, try their mornings for a delicious cup of coffee and a pastry, or lunch for a panini, or even on a Friday evening when they host local food trucks, you won’t regret it, and you’ll find your new favorite place

I just finished lunch on the patio of Awakanings Coffee. What a fantastic place!!! Beautiful patio, delicious paninis, great coffee!!! The owner was lovely and even offered my doggie a fancy treat!!! Found out they have rotating food carts on the weekend and sometimes live music. Can’t wait to check it out!

I visited primarily to hear the music, and thoroughly enjoyed the Band of Free Range Humans. It was after regular hours, so our dinner was from a food truck. The ale we ordered was passable, but I'd like to visit again when there is something much darker on tap.
