Y partner wanted to try this place for some reason, so we ordered to go. The food was pretty darn terrible, and was packed poorly. I have this place a one for atmosphere because I just learned of their love for hate. If you want to open a restaurant to the public in 1995+ you should be at least tolerant of the public. Shame on this place for their bigotry, prejudice, and hate. You have no place in our community.

Nope and nope. If the food doesn’t make you sick the things they stand for will.

DO NOT visit the Trolley Trail Tavern. Food is overpriced and bland. Service is incredibly slow and staff are rude. We tried multiple times to give them a chance in the beginning but then they hosted an “end of pride month” celebration and are welcoming proud boys into our community. That was the nail in the coffin for us. That kind of hate and bigotry is not tolerated in our community and I am looking forward to the day this place shuts down. Absolutely disgraceful.

Terrible service, slow and very unorganized. They have several tv’s but don’t go here if you’re in hopes of a sports bar as they don’t seem to care about putting games on. Food is overpriced and nothing special at all.

Dined outside, the food was delicious. The nachos were amazing- generous toppings lots of guacamole and jalapenos and really good chips. Though they didn't have lemonade, the server improvised with real lemon and I think sugar or syrup and it was better than any other lemonade. My boyfriend's daughter had a melted cheese dish that was $8 and she kept saying, "this is better than McDonald's." High praise from an 8 year old!!

Man, I REALLY WANT to like this place. Went for the open mic Comedy that was advertised to start around 6pm, but didn't actually until 8. Snagged some chips and guac that were just "ok". Kinda highly priced, $20 for chips/guac and sodas.Service was friendly but not the most engaging and seemed as in the dark as we were, regarding the events happening at this establishment.Decor was interesting, felt like furniture pieces were intentional and had a story behind them. Will likely go back, out of convenience and necessity rather than a "want" to do so.

Five of us walked into a bar. It was a hot Tuesday evening in August, the bar was the Trolley Trail Tavern. We were a young, handsome, newly graduated NYU POC; their mother and their POC father; and their elderly, obviously lesbian aunties. We were immediately greeted warmly. Ambiance? It’s a tavern, a very friendly tavern, a big one.Cocktail-wise we put the bartender through his paces with various margarita preferences, a variety of beers, and several delicious, elaborately concocted mixtures, the names of which escape me. Not a single error or spill, and all were happy with the delicious results.Every bite of our meals was delicious also. The ubiquitous rice-and-beans sparkled with the addition of a marvelously fresh pico de gallo scooped next to them on the plate. My two enchiladas were succulent, the sliced beef was a little more tender than the chicken which made up for it with juiciness. The plates the others got were served and consumed with barely a word shared except for “Mmmm.”No one complained about anything. Service was friendly, fast, and accurate, our server/mixologist gave us good information, resulting in good food, good drinks and an all around happy dining experience. We just HAD to applaud the staff on our departure. We’d love to return on a Thursday for Karaoke! Yay Trolley Trail Tavern!

Not a good cultural fit for Milwaukie/Oak Grove.
