Y partner wanted to try this place for some reason, so we ordered to go. The food was pretty darn terrible, and was packed poorly. I have this place a one for atmosphere because I just learned of their love for hate. If you want to open a restaurant to the public in 1995+ you should be at least tolerant of the public. Shame on this place for their bigotry, prejudice, and hate. You have no place in our community.

Food was meh. Meat was tough. Drinks were priced double what they should be and you have to go to bar when you want another. Nachos came with a tiny plastic side of salsa. Just kind of weird all around. Not to mention the politics that they are pushing with anti -pride night. Just kind of weird to insert your politics when you're already struggling and pushing away business and alienating large groups of people. Definitely an odd place. *** I believe they are closed indefinitely. It's a shame because they put months and months of hard work into getting the building/kitchen ready. I always think, if you want to open a restaurant, you must have a killer type of food or grandma's secret recipe, or a dish you invented. ANYTHING you want the public to enjoy and a safe place to gather with your community. Like why open a neighborhood restaurant and bar if you don't put your heart into the food, offer it at a reasonable rate, keep it fresh and clean, have nice and competent staff and create a welcoming inclusive atmosphere for the ENTIRE neighborhood and beyond. I hope all that work doesn't go to waste because I was over the moon to have a Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

Came for a hang since they said they were open till 1...11 and closed. Sad day! Guess we'll go anywhere else.

Great atmosphere, and stage as well as the sound system. The bar tender was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend coming here for a good time. They also do comedy shows which I will be checking out next time, and karaoke every Thursday!

DO NOT visit the Trolley Trail Tavern. Food is overpriced and bland. Service is incredibly slow and staff are rude. We tried multiple times to give them a chance in the beginning but then they hosted an “end of pride month” celebration and are welcoming proud boys into our community. That was the nail in the coffin for us. That kind of hate and bigotry is not tolerated in our community and I am looking forward to the day this place shuts down. Absolutely disgraceful.

Terrible service, slow and very unorganized. They have several tv’s but don’t go here if you’re in hopes of a sports bar as they don’t seem to care about putting games on. Food is overpriced and nothing special at all.

Tried this place a couple of times and the service is slow, unorganized and impersonal. Food is subpar and margaritas are bogus. Also the decals on the windows seem to advertise an inviting place to watch sports but definitely not the case, you'll have to to bug staff just to try to get someone to put a game on. Was excited for this place to open but they fell far short of any expectations.

I am honestly looking forward to the day this place shuts down. Food is bland, service is so slow we've walked out multiple times because it took FOREVER to get 1 drink. And then the fact that they hosted an "end of pride" celebration and they welcome the proud boys into our Oak Grove community? Please take your hate and bigotry elsewhere Trolley Trail Tavern.

Celebrating the end of ground turkey on flour tortillas.Damn, this place is terrible. If you had a fourth grader from Michigan do a class project in 1984 about Mexican food, this is what that would look like. It's that fucking hilarious: The "guacamole" is mashed avocado and onion, the "pico de gallo" might just be a jar of salsa and I'm not convinced that the adobo/"adobado" chicken and pork isn't just seasoned with a jar of Adobo from Freddy's.This place is less "Mexican restaurant" than it is "Proud Boy margarita bar," and I'm unsurprised to learn (after my visit, unfortunately) that it held an "end of Pride Month" event because it was so put out that someone, somewhere was having a good time.If I had to look at these toddler tacos all day and watch a bunch of goateed fatsos slurp down diluted El Jimador from a puddle of fruit juice like corpulent hummingbirds, I'd probably be clinically depressed as well. But it's bad enough that management takes it out on this uninspired, rudimentary menu: Do you have to lash out at the world outside your little Oak Grove hovel?

Dined outside, the food was delicious. The nachos were amazing- generous toppings lots of guacamole and jalapenos and really good chips. Though they didn't have lemonade, the server improvised with real lemon and I think sugar or syrup and it was better than any other lemonade. My boyfriend's daughter had a melted cheese dish that was $8 and she kept saying, "this is better than McDonald's." High praise from an 8 year old!!

Ate here 3 times the last time it made me sick. They also hold proud boys events which we were not aware of. The place was absolutely empty each time we were there, so hopefully they will shut down. I know I will not be back and have been spreading the word.
