First time here. Amazing! Incredible staff, the BEST food. Everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delectable. We got the fish and chicken tacos and they were huge and tasted incredible. I think they’re the best tacos I’ve had in Oregon. Also nice decor and ambiance.
This place is run by some of the best people! Their food is awesome! Drinks! And how supportive they are to live music and their community.
Worth stopping and enjoying 🥰
A good day with some good grub and great beer with a sweet dog behaving herself. What a cozy space!
This place is truly an Oakridge gem. Our bartender Brittney was so fun and sweet and had the beset recommendations! The hand cut fries and homemade ranch are not something I’m going to forget anytime soon!! We will be back :)
Would like to say anything about the food, but as we and another group of 3 guys ready to drink beer we’re completely ignored, can’t say much. We were in full view if the bartender who said nothing to any of us, then there were 3 men in front of what looked like the drink pickup area who seemed to work there, also never checking on new customers. We could see kitchen staff & hear a female who appeared to be wait staff, but not sure. The group of 3 left. We waited about 3 more minutes and left as well. So, if you can afford to lose 5 customers in 6-7 minutes, more power to you.
Everyone was very happy with the quality of the food they received. I personally had the cod tacos and they were a smaller portion, but were very high in quality.
Once we ordered the food actually came out very fast, however the line to order was VERY slow. 25 minutes+ to get through the line and with our group there were only around 8 people in line.
Not good customer service. Snotty workers with attitudes.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It took forever to get my food. And not to mention, I got sick from it.
The quality of food is really not there. Overpriced and greasy.

Horrible. Sad way to treat fellow Oakridge people. Regular ol folks go in to order their fish n chips. $26 bucks cha Ching. They have ordered here before and it was fine. Not the best but not the worst! This was the worst food and customer service ever! They told them it was a full 4 oz. They sent the fish back after 2 bites asking for refund or to make it right and sat waiting with no response. They then had to go up to the counter where they were told to wait until the manager gets here. 1.5 hrs later. After a lengthy heated discussion and childish behavior by the staff throwing their hands on the bar…they refunded ONLY the two pieces they had thrown away along with all the fries. What is this world coming to? A $60 bill gone south. Coke Beer Salad 2 pieces of fish. Never again. 👎
I loved this place when it was the Brewer's Union, and I still like it. The menu is pretty good, and the marionberry spinach salad is great. I wish they'd stuck with regular sweet potato fries instead of waffle fries, but that's a minor thing. The atmosphere is wonderful, a real pub that feels very warm and welcoming.
But the last time I was there, my wife and I were very hungry and figured our food would arrive fairly quickly since it was after 8 and the place was nearly empty. After waiting close to 40 minutes, she inquired about our order. Turns out that the bar person never handed it to the cook! 😡
I am VERY understanding and patient when it comes to being kind to retail and food industry staff. But the bar person didn't say "oh no, sorry, I'll take care of it!". Instead, she went on a semi-unintelligible rant about the new guy who didn't something something do something something so it's his fault etc. That's all we got. No offer of free drinks or dessert or to take our salad off the bill or anything. Not even an actual apology. Sometimes people make mistakes, and a major measure of a business is how they handle them. This one was handled very poorly. Remember, there were virtually no customers there, so this wasn't a case of someone being overworked and missing something, or being short staffed. Those cases are irritating, but understandable
I'll still keep coming here, it's a great place, I just want people to do their best, and that wasn't my experience this time. Oh, it was really nice that they converted their fabulous Reuben to gluten-free by turning it into two smaller sandwiches using GF burger buns!
Great warm meal, tastes great, service is also great. I will stop by again

My family has been coming here since I was a child back when this place was called the 180. Every time we’d drive down to central Oregon (which was often) we’d always take the longer route to stop and eat here. I have vivid memories of my brother and I eating big hamburgers and drinking cold root beer as kids. This place continues to be one of my family’s favorite establishments, and to anyone considering to dine here, it’s much worth the stop. Great food, great beer, great service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. There’s just nothing else quite like it.
We ordered a corn beef sandwich with fries and that was pretty good .
We also ordered fish and chips. The fish was great, but it was very very greasy. It seemed like they did not let it sit in the basket to drain any of the grease off, they just put it directly on top of the fries. The fries were actually too greasy to eat, and there was a puddle of pure grease underneath them. They were also soft and barely cooked. If you’re going to order the fish and chips, it’s in your best interest to order the fish on one plate and the fries on another another.
My new favorite place, too bad its over 3 hours away ? the brussel sprouts were out of this world, and that's not just post hike taste buds talking. The burger was awesome and the fries were the best I've ever had. All the dressings are house made and so good! We had some ginger cookie sandwiches that had some sort of cream cheese frosting inside. They were so good I came back for more for my kids and sister from our vacation. Think they may have been made from the sweet vine bakery we had breakfast at but not sure on that one. We will be back for those brussel sprouts and fries tho!! Next time we won't be sharing our burger either. ?
What a great little spot! The atmosphere is so inviting with cozy little spaces inside and some nice seating outside as well!
The staff were all friendly and the food was delicious. Got a burger with fries and both were simple and tasty!
Stoked to have found it and will def be back!
Love the cask beer selection, and the food and service was very good.
