When I sat down the waitress gave me a menu . There were only three other people there besides myself. She seemed to be cleaning up and taking out the garbage. She never came around to take my order so I left. Maybe they are short staffed and she is doing it all. I just wasn't feeling like I wanted to gamble my money on a meal here.
We wanted to have a nice lunch at a local restaurant to support the community but unfortunately the food is okay if you get what you ordered and the staff doesn’t know what they are doing and the cook can’t keep up if it gets busy in the least. I ordered nachos, easy right, apparently not. I wanted for about 45 minutes while my husband ate his lunch, and finally gave up. I told them I wanted a refund and no one there had authorization to do and said they would do it later. Didn’t even right it down so I doubt it will be done. So no food and out $15 for nachos. Over price subpar and very disappointing.
Addition:
Thank you to the owner who refunded my lunch and for getting back to me. I appreciate the offer as well. If I’m in the area, maybe I’ll stop in and try again.
Great place for Taco Teusday and a cocktail- Casual country setting. The food is made with quality ingredients and the owner is a wonderful gal.
Just was there yesterday and ordered a wrap. Super good. Gal who helped us was wonderful. Highly recommend stopping there especially if you are on the road and need a good meal. Ingredients were all home made.
Great lunch and breakfast!
This place is a gem - the perfect meal for any post-trail or -outdoors adventure in this beautiful area! As a Texan, I appreciate their Southwest cuisine options and cocktails! And I have used them for last minute help on catering a large event and they KILLED it! Always friendly and good company to be found there. Check them out!
Absolutely delicious!
Stopped here while passing through Oakridge. Super cute and friendly cafe that appears to cater to both locals and out of towners. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I had the Dirty Hippy (with added guac, cheese and Jalapeños). It was basically a scramble over country potatoes. It was delicious and very filling! My husband swapped his potatoes for hash browns and they were a tad under. That said, I would still 100% recommend stopping in and supporting this local gem.
The servers were very nice and attentive.
I got a combo plate that the server recommend. The gravy, eggs and has browns were really good, especially mixed together. The biscuits were okay, but I've had Southern biscuits so my standards are higher :)
Some of the best cowgirl cooking I ever had
Slow service. Cold food. Avoid

Taylor was GREAT! He was fast and the food was great! The place is very cute and cozy
Been on the road for 2 weeks and was starving this morning and dreading more fast food. This place is a delightful surprise! I will be back my next time through Oakridge.
Got breakfast to-go. I'll eat here again. The breakfast gravy was my favorite part of the meal I ordered. Proportions are relevant to the cost. However, the milkshakes, while good, are a bit pricy for the size. It is more expensive, I'd imagine getting the product they need compared to a bigger city.. The dining room is comfortable and clean. The employee who helped us was happy and nice as well.

Came here with high expectations after seeing other reviews and the cute curb appeal. Passing through this looks like one of the better places to stop in Oakridge…
Unfortunately, the entire experience was far below average. The waitress didn’t know anything about the menu, and our food was tasteless. Do not order the chili…trust me.
After we used the bathroom in the back, we saw used kitchen pots and pans on the floor. The crockpot cooking our chicken was on the floor next to the bathroom and there were flies everywhere.
I do not love leaving low reviews, but I hope this helps them clean up and make some improvements. They are needed.
