What is Mafa Chicken? It's a fried breaded chicken dish that you can put on whatever sauce you'd like. If you like sweet and sour chicken, then you can have it that way, or with Teriyaki, or Honey-mustard. While regionally recognized, it's not strange as it's a simple, crispy, fried breaded chicken with sauce. Matsy's has a wide variety of menu choices and a pleasant casual dining atmosphere, but it can get a little loud as it fills up. The service is good, but a shortage of staff may mean a longer than usual wait at times.

Literally my favorite place to eat in this whole area! They have THE BEST food around! Delicious salad (best one I’ve had) and all around great food! I wish they were open more or at least open for more hours, but I try to eat there when I do go out! If you visit, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I tried the prime rib. It was excellent. Cooked perfect, nice and tender and great taste too. It came with some wonderful stir fried veggies, a twice baked potato, roll and a mixed green salad with Italian dressing. Both waitresses were very nice and on top of their customers needs. Price was $34 each. Not bad for today's prices. We will be back.

Only open 5-9p, very limited menu and pricey. They have prime rib for $30 and $34 Friday and Saturday only which is what I went for but couldn't afford it. I got their finger steaks $16.95 that came with fresh baked bread, iceberg lettuce salad with just 2 choices of dressing (ranch and a sweet vinaigrette) I got vinaigrette that was Asian and quite good, choice of regular or twice baked potato, plain rice or pasta. I chose the twice baked that had cream cheese, green onion stuffed into the potato skin (delicious), and stir fry zucchini, carrots, onions, with some herbs resembling oregano (I didn't care for the flavor of it, but I don't like oregano). Overall the food was wonderful, service was attentive and the atmosphere was clean, open.
