A busy place in the mornings where the staff struggle to keep up. Set in a cute old house, but no outdoor seating. Mostly quiche and scones for breakfast. No OJ. After waiting a while, I had to go behind the counter to pour my own water.
What a great find! The coffee and food were delicious. The service and atmosphere were great. Loved our stop.
Best coffee in town, delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and consistently great service.
It is a little bit out of the way to find. But it is a good place for a cup of coffee
Worth the detour from the highway. Quaint, excellent food, tasty bev, pretty view of the park
Totally great service. Paper cups or cool mugs, great food AND great service. Fantastic coffee straight from their own roaster!
Great environment with amazing coffee. You can never go wrong at Buckin Bean!

Owner was friendly and atmosphere was pleasant. They had some alternative milks but no vegan food items. Barista appeared unenthusiastic and served me a watery, flavorless and too-hot mocha in a paper cup. Next time I’d give it a pass.

Absolutely loved the feel of this local coffee shop. We stopped in with our family while passing through the area, and the staff were incredibly kind to us. We managed to get two drinks and breakfast for a very reasonable price point. Decor and overall vibe were exactly what a coffee shop should be.

Initially, I really enjoyed going to Buckin Bean. I had been a regular at Starbucks, where I’d work for a few hours, occasionally grab a sandwich, and always have a coffee. But then it occurred to me—I should support local businesses. Plus, I knew one of the baristas at Buckin Bean, and she’s a great person. So, I made the switch. Whenever I was in town and needed to get some work done, I’d head over to Buckin Bean, grab a sandwich, and a coffee—sometimes just a coffee. However, one day, I was “corrected” about where I had chosen to sit during my last visit. Honestly, it felt more like I was being chastised. The previous time, there had been no other seating available, so I sat at a table with four seats. I ordered a coffee, something to eat, and worked for a couple of hours. But then I was told, “Next time you come in and you’re by yourself, could you sit somewhere else?” I was put off a little… After that, I found myself going back to Starbucks because, to be honest, the experience left me feeling a bit put off. Still, I thought I’d give them another chance, so I started visiting Buckin Bean again, even bringing clients there for coffee. Last week, I saw a post about how Buckin Bean was struggling due to construction. I had a Zoom call in about five minutes, and although I considered heading to Starbucks, I decided to support Buckin Bean instead. I ordered my coffee and was about to sit down when the lady informed me, “Just so you know, I’m going to limit your laptop time to an hour if we get busy.” No more Buckin bean for me, I hate to say this, but I will go to Starbucks where they welcome my patronage and don’t make me feel like an inconvenience for being a customer.
