Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Ordered 5 shakes. Not blizzards, single flavored shakes.
4 employees and 2 other customers in the restaurant with no one on the drive through.
It took 15 minutes to get just shakes. Employees did not seem to care that we were waiting and kept wondering off. Restaurant is dirty. Food and soda and who knows what else all over walls, floor, back of benches, and I’m sure more. We all took a couple sips of our milkshakes and instantly threw them away. All 5 shakes tasted like they were made with sour milk. Stay away

The food was fine, the service was that of a fast food place, but if you ask for ketchup they will likely give you a cup of gravy???

Forgot halve the thing we ordered cause they were screwing around in the kitchen.

Food is always excellent but the service is incredibly slow. Even on days when no one else is in the store it takes 25-30 minutes regardless of what you order. My most recent order took 40 minutes for a basket of chicken strips.

Just bought a Large Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard at 6:20 pm. Got halfway through and it was just plain “ice cream” none of the ingredients. They literally didn’t mix it. I should’ve known when less than an inch in the ingredients started to dwindle in quantity.

3:30 pm Saturday order two banana splits and one blizzard, blizzard was perfect, banana splits were like soup, worst splits in history can’t imagine putting something like this out saw when took home less then 5 minutes, money down the drain

Wanted a swirl cone two hours before close, was told nope it was to close to closing from the kid who could barely put his phone down.

Edit came back again an hour before the posted time on line, they simply closed up early. Came back today and guess what?? Ice cream machine broken, this place is a joke.

Not sure what happened, but their listed phone number isn't in service or is out of date. Considering the quality of the food, I'm genuinely assuming it's an intentional mishap. Ice cream was melted, looked refrozen. Maybe their machine was down? Couldn't really call to ask, so I'm left to leave a review hoping for a refund.

Will not return. Will not recommend. Never had this poor of an experience (I'm being kind and not elaborating upon the lackluster service)

It just keeps getting worse. The kid tried charging me $8.99 when I owed $4.99, if he was sober I'd be shocked. Then he rounded up to $5 for donation without asking. A penny won't kill me, but they didn't ask and I don't donate money so that corporations can get tax write offs.

We’ve been to many Dairy Queen’s throughout the country so we know what to expect from a large chain fast food company but the one here in Pendleton is fallen well below our already low expectations. They have gotten our order wrong multiple times and refuse to correct the mistakes. Blizzards were runny, extra toppings weren’t added even though we pay for them, staff was indifferent to the poor service and quality of food. I honestly won’t spend another penny at this Dairy Queen. Hal’s or the yogurt shoppe are much better options. Don’t waste your money here.

For a Dairy Queen, the service was the fastest and most friendly we’ve had. Quite clean and very nice and open. Our large group was quickly taken care of.
