old timey steakhouse with great Western vibes. decent steaks vegetables potatoes and booze. slow friendly service. fair prices. go next door to outstanding Western clothing and goods store. FUN AND WORTH THE EFFORT

I came here for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was flavorful, cooked just right, and came in hearty portions that left me satisfied. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the visit even more enjoyable. Worst place ever. The server was very slow. He said he was sure he could get us onion rings. It wasn't until the meal came out that he told us he could not do onion rings. I asked for fry sauce with my meal. He told me as he brought out our meal. He did not give me a chance to change my order. People who came in after was served way before us. Everything I asked our waiter for he said it would take him a while to do it. The waiter goes by the Vi. He makes the restaurant look bag. They should fire the waiter. If you dare go to this place ask to be seated ar Gari's table. She will take care of you. We will never go back to this restaurant

Lovely old atmosphere but food was not as good. Group of 6. Liver dish was overcooked and tough in parts, halibut had a beer batter that was almost black in color. Very unappetizing. Chicken Parmesan served over Alfredo pasta. No red sauce. Very odd. Told it was taken over by the casino and the food went downhill. Unfortunately on this holiday weekend our preferred restaurants were closed. Family said their breakfast dishes are awesome. Not so with dinner.

The employees were so nice and it had such a great atmosphere! It was my first time there and would definitely return. Their large servings of food were delicious and I was stuffed. We loved the interior’s historic feel.

The waitress was on top of her game. The food resembled and tasted that of a vending machine. Placing beef on some noodles then putting some sour cream on it doesn't constitute beef stroganoff. The chicken parm didn't have enough to even taste it. Very disappointed.
The building is absolutely beautiful.

The place is amazing. The decor is perfect. Very nice place. Had the mountain man omlete and it was delicious. Pancakes tasted home made.

Update: Passing through town again and thought we'd try them out for dinner. It was a great choice! Steaks were TENDER and delicious! Baked potatoes are huge. Generous portions for everything ordered. Service was great again too.

Delicious food and excellent service!! It's a must stop for us now on our road trips! And their western store next door is also a must stop when passing through!

I was in town for business and wanted a steak, and decided to give it a shot. Because I was by myself, I was told I needed to sit in the bar area. Not a big deal, as there were tables available not directly at the bar. Took a bit to finally get a server, and was finally asked for a drink order. It took a while to even get a menu after I got my beer. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon, a side salad with extra ranch, and coconut shrimp. I was never asked how I wanted my steak cooked, which I thought was a bit strange. I asked the server if there was anything she would recommend with my steak, and she recommended the beef tallo. I thought, ok, I'll give it a try. When it came with the steak, it was basically a 1/2 of a bone of something, with fat sitting inside like a greasy slug. Wanting to at least give it a chance, I did spread it on my steak, which I felt was extremely small for an 8 oz steak, and I guess it tasted just like you would expect beef tallo to taste like.... very fatty and greasy. I had to flag down my server to get another beer, even though I was seated about 6 feet from the bar, and could overhear the bartender's conversations. I normally like my salad before my steak (main meal), but everything came all at once. I was not given extra ranch that I asked for originally, and had to ask again. The shrimp was WAY over cooked (very dark brown-almost looked completely burnt, and couln't even tell there was coconut on there, because it was so dark brown-everywhere else I've gotten coconut shrimp, they are golden brown, and you can totally see the coconut), but I forced them down anyway. The steak was medium/well, and I like mine medium/rare. But again, I was never asked how I wanted it cooked, and ate it anyway. Because my salad and dinner came at the same time, by the time I ate the steak and shrimp, they were luke warm at best. It was a Wednesday night, and not overly busy, so the slow service puzzled me. For spending almost $80 on a meal, not including tip, I was really disappointed. They also didn't offer me a desert, or desert menu, which I typically like after a meal, or to take back to my hotel, and eat later. I guess they don't have deserts??? It is a pretty cool looking place... rustic and whatnot, but I won't be returning the next time I'm in town for business. Maybe it was a bad night... BUT WHY? It was a Wednesday. I'm just thankful that it was on my companies dime, and not mine.... will never eat here again.

Had a great steak dinner. The food was all superb and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was not great. We went for a date night and they put us in the very back corner near the Exit door. The employees walked by our table and in and out that door our whole visit. The lighting was way too dark and the wall paper was dark red and super out dated. Made me feel not so welcome and inviting.
