Hamley Steakhouse & Saloon

Food, drinks, service and ambiance were all spectacular! Our party ordered steaks, the salmon, Lobster mac, prime rib dip sandwich and a burger. Everything was delicious and brought out at the same time so everyone ate together.

Took a day trip to Pendleton and ended coming across this hidden gem. Been through town a dozen times and never heard of it before. A true western treasure.

I had the smash burger with fries and my wife had the salmon salad. Both entrees were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. The fries were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crunch. I had the Hamley’s beer on tap and my wife had a drink called the sagebrush. Both were the perfect drinks for our order.

We visited on the day of the Christmas Lights parade and everyone that “walked in” without reservations were stuffed in the bar area. This is the only reason for 4 for Service.

Great location and ambience and server was exceptional. I was disappointed in the prime rib and overall food was average. Not sure if we hit a bad day but an Outback meal would have been much better for 1/3 less cost

We visited Hamleys on Christmas Eve morning, excited for a family breakfast with my family. There was only one table occupied, yet the hostess, Amanda, was rude and dismissive from the start. When my grandparents politely asked for a booth, she snapped at them for no reason. I work in the restaurant industry, and I know this behavior is completely unacceptable — if I ever acted like that, I wouldn’t have a job. Her attitude ruined our visit, and we left without eating. We don’t reward that kind of behavior especially towards elderly folks.

Despite being fairly busy, conversation was easy. One thing that is nice is when you can carry on a conversation.

Went to Hamleys for breakfast.I had the cowboy omelet which has Hills ham and bacon onion cheese and touch of sauce.It was delicious as was hashbrowns and toast with fresh strawberry jam.16.00The waitress is very attentive lady and sweet.nice atmosphere and music.I would recommend this place for breakfast especially if your traveling its a beautiful resteraunt to see.

Hamley Review We have eaten at Hamley several times in the past, 2015,2016 time frame. Service was stellar and the food fantastic! This was the total opposite of what we expected. Our Dinner Club meets monthly and we all eagerly awaited this meal. Never again, it was horrible. To start, my wife and I arrived at 6:10, for our 6:30 reservation, and let the hostess know we could wait in the bar if necessary. The restaurant and bar were not busy by any means, lots of empty tables and seats. She seated us immediately though, which was nice. But we sat there ignored until 6:40 before I could flag down a waitress to ask for water and place a drink order! Our waitress arrived a few minutes later and took our drink order, and disappeared. 30 minutes later she came back and asked to take our dinner order. I asked where our drinks were, and she stated they were coming, that the bar was extremely busy. It was not....... We gave our dinner order, and our drinks finally arrived. One of the drinks was a mistake, and had to be sent back. The ice in my drink was nearly melted from sitting on the bar for way too long....... Our Caesar salads arrived, and drowning in dressing! Absolutely inedible. The waitress came and took them away, and said she would take them off the bill. The entree arrived, delivered by a young man, not our waitress. I and another member had the prime rib. He had ordered his medium rare, and it came more on the bloody rare side, while I had ordered mine medium, and it came more well done. But we were starving, and decided to just suck it up and eat it. The garnish vegetables on the plate( carrot and something else) were burnt beyond recognition ( pictures attached), and covered in a greasy sauce, but surprisingly cold! The meat itself was not very warm, and flavorless. Again, we did not choose to send them back, opting to cut our losses and just finish and get out of there. Delicious steak and really nice service! I love that even though the place was busy, it still felt comfortable and wasn’t too loud. Our food came out quickly, and the prices were great for the quality. Gorgeous place! Highly recommend!

This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
I placed a takeout order at 5:51 PM, received email confirmation, and was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived at the scheduled time, waited 20 minutes, and was then given the wrong order. I had already called ahead to confirm my order was in the system, so this was extremely frustrating.

I informed the staff and they said they would correct it, but after that there was no communication at all. I waited over an hour with no updates. When I finally asked if my order had even been started, no one could give me an answer. Eventually, a hostess handed me a bag to-go. I paid $110, only to return to my hotel and discover my order was again wrong.

I ordered:
• NY Strip with parmesan fries
• Filet steak and fries
• Spinach artichoke dip
• Soup of the day
• Caesar salad

Instead, I received the wrong steaks, covered in coleslaw, broccoli, and green beans. I did not receive my artichoke dip or soup, and my salad had no dressing and not the toppings requested. There were no utensils or napkins either.

After a 14-hour road trip on the night of my graduation, all I wanted was a nice meal to celebrate—but instead this ruined the evening. I tried calling to speak with a manager, but no one answered. The staff showed no communication, no urgency, and not one apology for the inconvenience.

I would genuinely like a refund. This was unacceptable service and a complete failure of basic customer care.

Nice place and wonderful servers, however food is not worth the money you spend. Took an hour to get our food and my Ribeye was ice cold. Sent meal back and tried to order something else to go. Lobster Mac and cheese but lobster was also undercooked and smelled off.

Beautiful and the food was amazing. The server forgot my chimichuri sauce for my steak, but my sister had horseradish sauce she didn't want ... and oh my goodness! So good! Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for.
