During our visit to Packer Tavern, we were initially looking forward to a pleasant evening. We enjoyed some cider, tried our luck at the video lottery, won enough money to pay our bill, we were having a wonderful time, selected music on the jukebox, I selected artists like Tupac , Wu Tang and Prince. Unfortunately, our experience took a negative turn when what appeared to be the owner; approached us with blatantly racist remarks. He said Tupac is absolute garbage. lol
He used offensive language, the N word and expressed strong disdain for our music choice, even attempting to remove our selections despite our payment. This behavior created a hostile and unwelcoming environment, and it was deeply disappointing to witness such intolerance.
I had 4 song credits left…
I understand that sometimes owners have to maintain a presence in an establishment, but this was blatantly racist. Not how you operate.
I felt offended, terrified, and he moved towards me in an aggressive way with his body; said we were not welcome there anymore and we and our friends will never be welcome there.
Good because I’ll never go back to this establishment again.
Pendleton has so many better places and establishments to go and spend your money with good people and I’m sure there were good people at this place. But that was blatantly racist, intolerant, and bigoted. Lookout for him his name is Luke ? and he is tall, a reminiscence of white hair and a shaved head.
It’s so disappointing that there are still people like this in the world.
Sad when every little bit of hate, leads to the sadness of the world.
They owe me 4 song credits. Hope you play something good.

My name is Stevie, and I am the weekend bartender every friday-Monday starting at 5pm. Alissa is my morning 10am-5pm Saturday-Monday. We are New additions to this local, old, fun, non-judgement atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to play our lottery machines, pool tables, and dart. Or just swing in from 4pm to 6pm for Happy hour beers! We are a breath of fresh air to many that have been coming here for decades. We'd be happy to have ya. And if you don't drink, that's okay, we have lots of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from!!!

⭐ 4 Stars Overall
The atmosphere here is top-notch—laid-back, stylish, and a great spot to hang out. Service was excellent, the staff made sure everything ran smoothly and were really attentive. The food, however, didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. For the price range ($50–100 per person), I was hoping for more flavor and better quality.
That said, if you’re looking for a place with great vibes, strong drinks, and friendly service, Packard Tavern is a solid choice. Just don’t expect the food to blow you away.

As a Colorado couple passing through town, we had no idea what we were getting into at a late night, seemingly “dive” bar on a ghost-like evening in the town of Pendleton, OR; following the presumably wild weekend that had been Labor Day. It didn’t take but one second of passing beneath the threshold of the establishment, that we were greeted by what we could imagine would the smiling-est face in the county. Stevie was her name. She enlightened us with historical and current facts; sold us instantly on local brews; and invited us to make ourselves at home, more so than we ever would at any other bar. She deserves 10 stars. And for a lowly pre-rodeo Tuesday night, we couldn’t be more satisfied after a sweet Huckleberry Ale and a crisp Irish Death.

Walked into someone screaming at an employee and firing them. Will never see a dime of my money. Don't care what they did, the way that manager/owner treated that employee was uncalled for.
