We've come here every year, after the PRU Rodeo. This year we came in on Thursday evening, and 'Summer' was our server. Maybe the best server we've ever experienced. Super fun, polite and attentive. Always a great experience at Prodigal Son.
We stopped by to enjoy a brew. Hubby favors Belgian style beers and found their Bruce Lee Porter to be quite satisfying. Although the bar tender stayed busy making drink orders, she also carried on a nice conversation with us about our trip.
It was okay, but we loved the beer. We had onion rings and brisket tacos, and the kid had chicken strips and fries. Honestly the chicken strips were the best of the three. I had high hopes for that brisket taco, but I'm disappointed to say it just lacked any flavor in my opinion. Also totally a matter of opinion, but we weren't huge fans of the batter on the onion rings- it was more of a panko type breading which just isn't our preference. As I said, the beer is...
