Server was good, friendly. Took a while to get food something to do with the kitchen, wasn't busy and we were not in a hurry, so that was fine. However, because of that my eggs were cold and rubbery, my hash browns undercooked and hot, as was the bacon. Maybe it was a one off but, yikes. Will consider trying again next time we come through.

Traveling through Oregon. Had to come see it. Great little bar with a rich history. Unfortunately the breakfast we ordered was not good. Everything but the omlette was cold. Even the pancakes. The service was friendly, but the food took forever to get and clearly sat in the window forever.

For Unknown Chuckleheaded Kafkaesque reasons, Your Overbearing Unique! barkeep said it was policy to separate people from their belongings.

Though there was a woman at the bar with an oversized handbag, I was asked to leave my backpack by the door or behind the bar?

When I pointed out hypocrisy, was told it was policy. When I asked for an explanation, the “lady barkeep” said she wouldn’t argue with me.

As she didn’t understand the difference between explanation and argument, it was unlikely she’d be able to articulate the policy so I left.

Then I called to see if I could speak with an owner or have them call me, and it was told it was policy, and click. Hung up on by the guy who graduated under the head bartender at PBA?!

No dinner tonight, but fed my soul on all of your one star reviews??

Will not return to this establishment.

Our server Kylie was so friendly kind and helpful. The drinks were wonderful. The onion rings and wings also were REALLY good. So well done and worth the trip.?

Don’t go for breakfast. Feels like a bar pretending to be a diner. Service was terrible, food was mid.

Waited an hour for our food and then it was the most mediocre diner food I’ve ever had.
Orange juice was undrinkably bad.
The bacon was good. Eggs Benedict and hash scramble aren’t worth the money or time.

The bar you're referring to is a true gem and holds the title of the oldest continuously operated bar in the state of Oregon, which already sets it apart with its rich history and timeless charm. It's more than just a place to grab a drink; it's a piece of Oregon’s heritage. Walking through the doors feels like stepping back in time, with its rustic ambiance and unique character that transports you to a different era. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit, offering a cozy, welcoming vibe that’s hard to come by these days. The food was also top-notch, far exceeding the typical expectations one might have for pub fare. Whether you're there for a burger, some classic comfort food, or just to enjoy the drinks, the menu does not disappoint.

Equally important was the excellent service. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and quick, ensuring that we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. It's clear that customer service is a priority here. Frankly, if you’re considering giving this bar anything less than five stars, you’re missing the point. This place isn’t just about food or drinks—it’s about the experience, the history, and the atmosphere that you simply can’t replicate anywhere else.
