Outstanding food and even better service
We stopped at OMG Chicken Shack in Pendleton, Oregon, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Reese was our customer service representative, and he truly made the experience memorable.
We ordered the chicken strips and a side salad, and everything was excellent. The ranch dressing was homemade, as were all the dipping sauces, and you could absolutely taste the difference. Reese explained that they fry their chicken in beef tallow, which he said is both tastier and healthier than other oils—and it shows. The flavor was outstanding.
The portions were generous, and we both had plenty to eat. Best of all, we enjoyed a great lunch for under $20 including tip, which is hard to beat these days.
Customer service was top-notch. Reese walked us through the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and clearly takes pride in his work. He genuinely loves life and loves his job, and that energy carries through the whole experience.
A fun personal moment: when we asked Reese if he knew our friend Marty Campbell, the local vocational ag teacher and FFA advisor, he lit up and said Mr. Campbell was the best teacher he ever had and that he still uses what he learned from him today. That told us everything we needed to know about Reese.
My wife has already declared that we will always stop here for lunch or dinner whenever we’re in town. Highly recommended—for the food, the value, and especially the people.

Great food, even better service! I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl and their sauce is homemade, and tasted so fresh with the green onions. And the young man at the counter was seriously the sweetest, brightest person. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend! 👏

Ordered their crispy Chicken samich and a crispy Chicken salad for dinner while passing through town, It was most excellante. I'd have to say it was better than Popeyes and Chic-fillet. So good in fact while passing through the next day on my return home I ordered 2 more crispy Chicken sammies and ate them on the way home ! Really nice people working here too.
Can't wait to go back through Pendleton again

It said to ring the bell when we walked in but we didn’t. The lady had her child voice for customers but when her friend came in while eating our meal she had her real voice.
The problem was the chicken had No flavor. The skin had no flavor but it was crunchy skin. They give you the smallest cup of ranch even for the 2 tenders I ordered. I could not finish the second bcuz (idk how much they charge for extra ranch that dang small) . Like this ain’t McDonalds who gives once sauce for 4 nuggs . Hubby ordered chicken breast sandwich to get 2 chicken strips.
Almost no sauce (mayo) n so it was chicken strips barely mayo and lettuce. The mash n gravy tasted like the cheap ones you buy from the store like the crinkle fry’s . For the price you need the real fries. Not what I by at the store
This is our first time here since moving and we won’t be going back with our kids.
Lol I’ll clap back and just edit to reply to you.
We didn’t ring the bell bcuz we were still looking at the menu when the chick came out from the back. The voice was actually annoying bcuz no one sounds like that unless they are a child. Lmao Why advertise a chicken breast sandwich and give tenderloin? The chicken was good but like I said it had no flavor other than dipping it in the sauce. How do you have such crispy skin but it tasted like nothing. No one complained about how many ppl were working.
Yea the crinkle cut fries don’t look like the picture that was posted for the fries so maybe update that bcuz we were looking at what looked like hand cut and way better than crinkle cut. (Picture provided of what we were expecting)
Should probably salt the fries when they come out the oil too bcuz they also had no type of flavor and once dry they dnt hold the salt provided on the table very well. I had a good day lmao even went to work after so having lunch that had flavor would have made it even better.

I stopped into OMG Chicken Shack today and was seriously blown away. I ordered the grilled chicken teriyaki bowl and it exceeded every expectation. The portion was huge, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted incredibly fresh — you can tell they actually care about the quality of their food.
The people at the counter were also so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to walk me through the menu and even recommended the teriyaki bowl, and I’m so glad they did. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels personal and the food backs it up.
Overall, an awesome experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending them to everyone!

Was driving through and wanted to try this place. Stopped by at 7:20 pm (closes 8 pm) and they were shut down with lights off....went over to Wendy's.
in response to the owners comments: maybe change your hours online? And thank you for revealing your true colors. 🙏

The grilled chicken teriyaki bowl was so small (maybe a 1/2 cup of rice and maybe 2 tbsp of chicken. The green onions on top were refreshing, but it had way too much teriyaki sauce on it. The size if the drink that came with it was a child size drink.
Over priced.
Then the workers dissapeared into the back.
We stood at the register for several minutes a couple of times so we could order something else. Nobody came out until a new customer came in.
Dissapointment
In response: not over exaggerating! Not even close to being worth the price.
The bowl was definitely not full. There was not even close to 1/4 cup of chicken. And so much sauce. And yes, anywhere else that size cup is a child size.
And if you would read to the end, trying to talk to anyone...the staff dissapeared and did not come back out even though we waited at the register.

They specialize in chicken!! What a joke!! The sweet and sour bowl was all rice with a thin layer of diced up thigh meat on top.. The OMG fries are just crinkle fries. The chicken tenders were tough. Spent over $30. for two. Not going back!
