Cardwell Hill Cellars is an amazing spot, offering a great wine tasting experience. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, and the Pinot Noirs are a highlight, both excellent and good value compared to others in the region. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful patio, shaded by an arbor, and even pick table grapes from above. The winery features award-winning vintages and a stunning vineyard vista, with a pretty outdoor seating area that is dog-friendly.
Good hiking trails just down the road make it perfect for all hikers, including beginners. The lavender planted around the patio looks and smells gorgeous, and there’s even a bocce ball court. Guests can relax with a glass of great wine, enjoy Friday night concerts, or bring their own cheese, crackers, and charcuterie to make a board. The staff is responsive and welcoming, creating positive interactions for everyone, including families with toddlers. With some of the least expensive tastings and pours in the valley, Cardwell Hill Cellars remains a favorite in Oregon.
