tl;dr dead roach in the chip bag. Disgusting!
We tried this place on the recommendation of a friend. We ordered birria tacos & carnitas tacos, and guacamole with chips. The food was meh: birria tacos were not made with sauce or melted cheese. Carnitas was bland. The meat tasted old & the chips smelled rancid.
But the kicker? A *dead roach* in the bottom of the chip bag. Absolutely revolting. I will never go back.

The lame tacos were only slightly better than the stale tortilla chips with a deep fried cockroach body tossed in. Disgusting. First and last time I will ever eat there.

Unfortunately my boyfriend got a pretty bad case of food poisoning right after eating here. He ordered the chicken burrito to go. It came out so fast, we thought for sure they must have just reheated ingredients (not made them fresh) and wrapped them up. A few days later, I had a friend who went and got tacos and also got a bad (barfy) case of food poisoning. I had high hopes, especially because it is such a cozy, inviting, authentic atmosphere! Sadly we will not be recommending anyone to go here any time soon.

way overpriced for a breakfast burrito.

Bad experience with manager. They asked me to swipe my card twice because the first time the “payment did not go through” according to them. They charged me twice for the same order. I showed the manager the transactions on my phone but it seemed she did not believe me. I did not get reimbursed for the second transaction. TERRIBLE customer service!

Visited with my fiance for a lunch date,
The music and audio coming from the televisions in the restaurant were very loud, it was difficult to find a place quiet enough to have a conversation while eating, and we were one of two couples in the whole restaurant at this time.
Food was extraordinarily expensive, tacos were almost $4 each and sodas that normally cost less than $1 are being sold for $4/5 each also. Food was alright, the carnitas tacos were very dry and there was an upcharge for salsa that normally is complementary when spending nearly $30 per meal.
Parking: Parking was very limited and the parking lot (if you can even call it that) has so little space that you're required to back into traffic on the highway upon exiting because there isn't any room to turn around.

Carnitas plate was dry and flavorless for me. Husband really enjoyed chile verde. Ate every last drop of the sauce! I had difficulty communicating with the counter person. My lack of Spanish didn’t help. Beautiful artwork on the table and chairs. Go order something just to enjoy the space!

Los Tres Potrillos is authentic Mexican food. Beautiful dining area-- very festive. Salsa bar too. My order was two asada tacos and one chicken at $3 a taco. The guacamole was good and generous. Also a chicken ensalada. Very clean and friendly.

I didn’t eat there, but I asked the girl behind the counter the same question 3 times, all she did was look at me with a blank face for a few seconds so I just spoke louder and louder. Her just standing there, looking at me, not answering my question.
