The Truffle Pig was AMAZING got the Truffle Shuffle burger w/ candied jalapenos and my guest got it with pork belly. Shared a basket of fries. We couldn't stop eating. I'm still full. I will be back. Everyone was great, neat set up.

Spent a night in Phoenix, OR on a roadtrip in November 2025. Phoodery was right down the street so we checked it out.

The food from Truffle Pig was outstanding. Can't go wrong with their friend chicken sandwich. The breading is crunchy and sticks to the chicken nicely. The chicken was super tender and juicy. The bread, toppings, and sauces combined very well.

The strawberry mule from the bar was tasty.

The staff at each place was friendly and gave good suggestions.

We enjoyed their tables with fire pits in them.

The owners take advantage of the food vendors, while collecting all alcohol sales. Multiple vendors are now leaving the site. Steer clear from this mess, and support local trucks elsewhere!!

Update: it is absolutely hilarious watching their current downfall and damage control. Terrible people deserve terrible things. Unfortunately for them, they can't ban users on Google as they do on all their socials. A weak business run by weak individuals.

Update 2: They are down to two food trucks and made Skout rename their Phoodery taphouse. Don't be fooled, it's the same owners.

I came here to find one food truck? can't quite consider it a food truck pod. the mismanagement here must have been epic.

This is a great place to chill with friends, family, and community neighbors. We’ve been coming since they opened and have always had a great time. Entertainment is fantastic and the food is always great, especially when it’s supporting small local venders. Menus keep rotating but the fun never stops. The open air concept is amazing and the mini fire pits along the tables with heated ceilings keep you nice and cozy on those colder nights. There’s always something going on. Come on down and enjoy!

Went to the Phoodery a few months back and just had a visceral reaction remembering my experience… the older blonde lady that was working the bar should get out of customer service STAT. She was condescending and rude, not sure if she just hates her life or what but not the experience I was expecting

Shame on the owners for thinking they can treat small business bad In our community and still receive our money and support.

Great place to get together with family or friends!! Great for summer evenings. Haven't been in winter, I'd think it would be a little cold ..

I love any I can sample lots of food from different food stalls all in one place, it is my vision of heaven, nirvana, shangri-la...

I loved everything I got there! Pork belly sliders and carne skewers. The only think I would do different next time, is to bring more people so that we can share and I can try more different dishes 😁🥳🤤

I recently had a chance to eat at one of the food vendors at Phoodery, a collection of food vendors ( i.e. brick and mortar “food trucks” ) in Phoenix, Oregon that came recommended,
specifically Peruvian Point at the Tap. Unfortunately the experience left me disappointed and frankly surprised.
After ordering their Anticucho de Pollo ( Grilled chicken marinated with Peruvian spices, served over organic spring mix salad ) , I was given a restaurant pager that failed to correctly notify when my food was ready. After 15 minutes, I finally went back to the restaurant to ask what might be taking so long. At that point, I was told that they were trying to notify me, but obviously their pager wasn’t functioning correctly. At that point I suggested that they probably needed to remake my meal, since it had been sitting there for over 10 minutes getting cold, which they agreed to do. I asked how long that would take, and was told just a couple of minutes. I returned about 4 minutes later to collect my order. Unfortunately, what I was served was quite disappointing. Although most of the chicken was tasty, there were pieces included that were obviously undercooked…i.e. raw. Additionally, the cilantro rice had obviously been cooked hours ago, and was overcooked and mushy with little cilantro flavoring and clumped together ( Chipotle’s cilantro rice is far better than this attempted version I was served! ). The salad included was the only thing that lived up to its description. I ate the pieces of chicken that weren’t undercooked, about 1/4 of the rice before I gave up on that, and all the salad. I decided to go back with the pieces of raw chicken to show the vendor, not to ask for any compensation, but to simply advise them that they might want to advise their cook to double check and make sure any chicken they were serving was fully cooked…..and that’s where things went south. The woman who appeared to be running the restaurant wouldn’t even look at the raw chicken pieces I was trying to show her, and simply stated that “we don’t serve raw chicken”. Even when I asked her to look at what I had in hand, she just repeated the same thing again….suggesting that what I was telling her was simply impossible! Any restaurant that doesn’t even consider the possibility that a customer may have been served a less than adequate meal….let alone one with less than fully cooked chicken, should, in my honest opinion, be given a wide berth. One would hope that Peruvian Point at the Tap would review their practices for food preparation, and listen to customer feedback that is only trying to be helpful!

This place is a joke. Prices are through the roof. We were there on a day when was 50° and I asked if we could get the fire lit that were on the tables and the worker said they a waiting on gas. Lmao. If you want drinks everything is pre mixed and if you want something without alcohol ...good luck! They have two slushy drinks.

Edit: Holy moly, look at the owner response. They also never addressed why they are not charging what they say on their menus, just chose to personally attack me. This says all you need to know about these owners. Just look up the Rogue Valley Times article, nuff said.

Original Post:
Let me start off by saying the concept of this place is great. But the execution is very lackluster.

Nothing to say about the food except that prices are insane. $1 per extra thing of sauce? $16 meal that doesn’t even come with a side? No thanks I’ll just continue to go to common block or any other decently priced establishment in the valley.

Second, there are so many families that come here. That inherently isn’t a bad thing, until you see that they treat the space as a playground, with kids running around unsupervised and crazy. My wife and I almost got hit by 3 different sets of kids while trying to enjoy our meals, whether it was them throwing things in the air or playing tag around us. Apparently this spot is the new babysitter.

Third, I’m fairly certain the Skout Taphouse location here is engaging in deceptive business practices. Their prices on their menu DO NOT match the prices in the POS system, and when confronted the bar staff look at you like it’s your problem, not theirs. Another thing is I believe they’re just serving all their beers in 12oz glasses despite having 16oz listed as most of their options, making a lot of money off the top potentially defrauding consumers. I plan to bring in my own 16oz glass in the future to either confirm or deny this. Nothing gets me more upset than swindling people out of their hard earned money.

So yeah, honestly this place has potential to be great, they just need to hold parents to a standard and not charge an arm and a leg for minimal portions.
