First time ever eating here and Im so glad we went. Our food and our server were amazing, I unfortunately didnt ask for his name but it was the best service we've experienced in a very long time. We will definitely be back.

WOW!! Honestly, I was blown away! Tonight, my girlfriend and I were served by Salvador. We received truly the greatest service we've had anywhere in the last decade. The food was fresh, hot, fast and absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better night out. Thank you all for such a wonderful night!

If you're looking for the best Mexican cuisine in the valley this is the place the service is hands down the best I've ever had always have a smile and the servers are great if you're searching for a good place to eat this is the one the restaurant is meticulously cleaned and everything is perfect God bless you portales

This is my partner's and my favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. The folks who run this place are very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend eating here. Our favorite menu items are the enchiladas and chimichangas. And their salsa is addictive!

The food was extremely bland and flavorous, compared to the rich spices and flavors I’m use to in great mexican foods. The services was slow and inattentive. It could hear the staff happily socializing in the back while we waited for attention. It seemed clean and the decor was fine but I go out for the food and service. I don’t plan to go back to this place. I’m use to the great Mexican food I got in southern and central California over the years. Im sorry to say I haven’t been very impressed with many of restaurants around here.

We are next door at Holiday RV Park for a few days. Wanted to watch the U of O football game. The TV in the Cantina was set to our requested station, and we enjoyed the game with margarita’s and nacho’s! Salvador, our server, was the BEST!

Ordered NACHOS WITH CHICKEN, 16oz Modelo, and 1.5oz of tequila for lunch today. It was awesome!!! Atmosphere is warm, inviting, and spirited in the tradition of faith, family, and food for a better future.

Food was decent. Hard to compare, as I was in San Antonio the weekend before, and had to place my order with a translator app 😂👌🏼 the bartender was a really nice guy. Prices seemed a little high, but would probably swing by again if in the area

Compared to the same plate at other Mexican restaurants the flavor was better, but the quantity of chicken was small for the price.

We just ate here for the first time today (4/3). We went for lunch and had a great experience. The food was fresh and good, they had the wine we prefer, the service was excellent, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is in a convenient location with good parking. We talked to our very nice server and found that she and her husband - the cook - own the place and have had it for just over 2 years. We intend to go back soon and make it one of our regular spots.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s my husband and i’s favorite Mexican food ! Love the owners and staff they make amazing food every time so friendly and clean !!

My daughter has a cold and all she wanted to eat is cheese enchiladas so I called and placed an order. this is my first time at Los portales and it did not disappoint!! Excellent food the macho burrito my husband got was huge! My daughter loved her chiladas as she calls them😂 the lady who took my order even brought the food to me in my car since my daughter was sick and sleepy. I highly recommend!
