We just left the salty dawg I never know what to expect when trying out someplace new to eat. The food so delicious, It’s a cute little bar, but it’s not just your average bar food. They have a really delicious food. I got a grilled chicken BLT The chicken was so flavorful so yummy and the bacon was just how I love it crispy and delicious. The onion rings are probably some of the best I’ve eaten so tasty. My husband said his burger was Super flavorful, sweet potato fries are amazing. The price is fantastic especially for the amount of food you receive . The bartender/waitress was very nice very hospitable. 100% recommend.

Let me just say the pizza at Port & Starboard, I mean, Salty Dawg is ridiculously good. It’s ridiculous. The crust is excellent, perfect, I mean, it’s real good, Dawg! I need to try some of the other menu items, but the pizza is so irresistibly good, I can’t help myself. Yes, ridiculously and irresistibly good. In Port Orford! What a score!

Stopped in while on vacation, and was pleasantly surprised! The food, especially the GF pizza, was delicious and although not a GF restaurant, they did everything to ensure I didn’t get contaminated. Will make this a regular stop when going through Port Orford!

Food was baller. Atmosphere was meh. There were some dogs running around which was cool. Took over an hour to get a burger. Watched others that came in after get their burger first. No apologies or anything besides for something about the new burger press (while others were getting their burger?). Wife was done eating 15 mins before I got my food. Tainted the visit

What a fun stop on your Oregon coast trip drive/stay. Some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. Food is fresh and thoughtfully made (not a bunch of fried frozen stuff) make this place a home away from home on your vacation and enjoy a small town friendly bar hangout.

On vacation and this place has the best Cheese sticks. Ranch is garlicy and delicious. Fries have some rosemary on them, gives a unique flavor. Fresh pineapple on the pizza. Reasonable prices. Good music great vibes.

I’ve been here quite a few times in the last couple years. You cannot beat their food. The burgers, the pizza the salads with the homemade dressings and the chicken wings are absolutely out of this world. I have not had much of the deep fried bar food. I’m sure it’s Exactly what it’s supposed to be

The food is consistently the same so you know what you’re going to get every time. As I mentioned before they make their own dressings, dough, sauce, meatballs, for the pasta, etc. Don’t let the bar atmosphere fool you. This is restaurant quality food, and I honestly say the best on the Oregon coast I’ve had so far. Salina runs a great crew over there and I look forward to dining in Port Orford at the Salty Dawg every time I’m up there.
