We got into town right before they closed and our Airbnb host recommended we run over there. The black miso cod bowl was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and gave us a sample of shrimp and ceviche, which were also good but didn’t compare to the cod dish.

POSS has the *best* seafood fare I’ve had. You cannot go wrong with any dish you get here. The best part is it’s all local caught & sustainable! This is a must have while visiting Port Orford.

Port Orford Sustainable Seafood is the epitome of a local restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff are super friendly and jubilant. I was lucky enough to overhear Lily talking with a local fisherman about the upcoming Tuna season. That’s how I know the fish is fresh and caught by locals. Stop by for a wonderful meal and take some fish home as well.
