We had the clam chowder and fish tacos. Both were excellent. Highly recommend!

Very friendly folks here. Food was above average, the fish sticks could use a little more flavoring of the batter. I guess that is what the lemon and starter sauce is for. Enjoyed the meal, had some laughs. I would still go there again if I am in the area again.

Ordered a kids fish and chips and a regular, the kids came with more fries than the regular, and was only 7 dollars. They were out of Chipotle sauce for the fish tacos. The clam chowder was decent. Service takes forever. They tell you stand at the counter to wait for your drinks but take forever. Really overhyped in the reviews for what it is. The coleslaw and pasta salad sucked. The tarts sauce was the best thing about this place. The fish is good, just over hyped.

I wish there were six stars, it was that good. We had local rock fish, which was excellent. Don't forget the dessert, this place has a pie maker beyond belief...best coconut cream pie on the West Coast!

Wasn't the best fish or fries. The tartar sauce was very dill flavored. The Clam chowder also had a lot of dill and another flavor that overwhelmed it. Was hopeful with some of the reviews but we will try another place next time.

Fantastic veggie burger and fries. Perfect stop for a pair of hungry traveling vegetarians. Thanks for existing. Also gnome bathrooms.

The staff seem like genuinely good human beings as well which is rare nowadays.

Delicious fried oysters; looking forward to trying the chowder and fish on future visits

This truly pains me to write as this has been our #1 on the entire Oregon coast for two decades, but our visit last week was a little disappointing.

The good, first:
Staff is so friendly and all working hard. Best homemade tartar sauce you’ll ever find, and the same goes for the coconut cream pie. Blessedly both these things were exactly as expected.

The bummer:
Our chips were soggy and our fish, which we dream about for months in between because it’s usually that good, seemed to have a completely different batter recipe (or maybe a different kind of oil used?), and the portions were long, thin and barely more than a frozen fish stick in size, which for the cost was almost insulting even to people that have a great deal of understanding and a good sense of humor for managing restaurant costs in today’s economy.

We’re dearly hoping this was just an off day, but we did collectively decide to go into Bandon instead for lunch later in our trip.

We’ll still be back to give it another go next time, fingers crossed y’all win us back!

We shared a salad and fish and chips. The fish and chips were so fresh, they just melt in your mouth! The chips were delicious. The salad really was amazing just as they advertise, with generous Cucumber, tomato, peppers and delicious seemed-like-homemade croutons. Their ranch was thin and amazing! Service was really fast!

We've been eating fish and chips at The Crazy Norwegian for years and have always been very impressed by the large fillets of fish and large side of fries, until yesterday. Yesterday we ordered two fish and chips meals and received a few small pieces of fish in each order that were about the size of a chicken nugget. Our meal only had about half the amount of fries we typically get. Is this reduction in portion size the new standard? If it is we won't be driving out of our way to eat here anymore. Super disappointed.
