Really enjoyed it the times I was there. Sad they closed. But a new owner will be starting in October so stay tuned.

AMAZING, sadly the poor gentleman working was the only person working, but he crushed it. One of the best meals I have had in a while. The food was superb, there was a bit of a wait...cause he was the only one working however it was worth any wait! I am just passing through, but make this a stop, you will not be disappointed by anything on the menu!!

This is for Brunch- Service: Almost non existent...no silverware or napkins brought with food. The big downside: The Coffee was not ready, so we waited until it was brought out in a self serve container...it was cold- like day old cold. This was a bit confusing as the lady next to us had a hot coffee?? I don't know what to say here. The Food: this is why this place has 5 stars, it was delicious. You can tell the chef knows what he's doing and does it well. Lastly...during brunch they are making smoothies so do not sit inside. The constant smoothie machine grinding was honestly just obnoxious and not enjoyable. Overall I don't want to be harsh because food wise they have something really good going, but just need to work on the atmosphere and service (for brunch in any case).

SO delicious so glad we stopped by to try!! Such a kind and accommodating staff and Christian the chef is incredible! We spotted something on the dinner menu which they weren't serving yet and he heard us ask about it and told us he'd make it for us! It was incredible pork belly kale turnip Omg. Amazing. Recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Chef Christian served it up tonight. Great combos, very creative and presentation an A. Was nice to find this little secret on the S. Coast of Oregon. These small towns have some great talent and views of the Coast that are unmatched.

Delicious food. Room inside and out to eat. Lovely staff. Healthy and fresh food. If you want food from the glass case, bring cash (we thankfully had some for their delicious quiche). Friendly patrons and a comfortably decor with some local art made for a lovely family brunch with our little girl (14 months old). I would’ve taken pics of the food but we ate it all too quickly. The gentleman there (Christian?) was friendly and quick while being the waiter, cashier, and cook.

My husband, friends and I have never been disappointed with the food. It is so incredibly delicious. For instance, I had braised lamb hash. The cubed potatoes had a taste of brown gravy, (very light coating), with a flavor of richness and decadence, with braised lamb. Oh, my goodness!

Having passed through PO a number of times, I'm constantly reminded how slim the breakfast finds are around here. But I was moments from becoming an entirely different human if I didn't eat, so I buckled down and gambled on this place here. So glad I did. The gentlemen working it (all alone) was very pleasant and prompt. The food was incredible, to my surprise. Excellent cinnamon rolls too. :)

If you don't stop and try a bite you're missing out. No doubt we will be back soon! Our day started with a breakfast burrito and sandwich! Good selection of teas as well. Friendly service!

Truly fantastic local Cafe.My wife and I stopped here with my family on our way through Oregon. Small Cafe with only the chef /owner and the baker/server.I can not overstate how delicious every single bite was. The first thing you notice when you look at the menu is that they serve items you might not expect. One such item was locally sourced lamb. Our group of 7 ordered the handmade burger and salad, several of the omelette of the day, a lamb hash, and a breakfast burrito. Most dishes were served with roasted potatoes. Once we started eating, it rapidly turned into a game of "you HAVE to try this" as each of us shared our meals with the others. The food is bursting with flavor. My wife and I are on opposing sides of the spectrum with eggs. I normally cannot stand them whereas she eats a couple a day. The omelette was so well seasoned and fluffy I would happily eat it any day. The burger was one of the best I've had in a very long time. The salad was creatively seasoned with almonds and nutritional yeast and was somehow one of the tastiest I've had.And to top it off, the duo who run the place are truly kind and friendly people who make the experience something to cherish.

Delicious!!! Omelette, lamb hash and he made my daughter a grilled cheese (not on menu) because she has egg allergy.

The Nest is by far the best restaurant on the southern Oregon coast! If you have never had a dinner there you're missing out on an amazing culinary experience. It is a bit deceiving when you walk through the door because it appears to be a small cafe with extremely friendly folks working there. Don't let it fool you. We have had many superb meals at The Nest. Christian is an amazing chef. His dishes are always a delight for the palate and are equally beautiful to behold. He is truly a culinary artist. We can hardly wait our next dinner at The Nest!
