Ordered 3 burgers with one being med rare, all 3 were burnt, When I said something to the guy he had attitude telling me they use frozen patties and they cant promise anything. Spent $50 on a meal for a famly of 4 that was inedble and ended up being thrown in the garbage. Will not be returning.

Great atmosphere. The food is excellent, whether it is a hamburger or a pizza. They are a bit short staffed, but the owners do their best to provide great service. And the price of everything is very reasonable. It is always a great experience dining there. Snuggle up to the wood stove on a cold, snowy winter's evening.

The most DELICIOUS meat lover’s pizza I’ve ever had! The crust was very tasty as well. The food was high quality and homemade. The restaurant itself also felt old and cozy. The service was fantastic and I 100% recommend for anyone in Prairie City looking for a good pizza!

We ordered coconut shrimp and Pepperoni pizza and both was delicious. Their were only two people working the floor and they rocked it especially how busy they were. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone passing through the John Day area. Food options are limited in this area and was highly shocked how good their food was. Will come back again when I am in the area!!

Fantastic home made food. I had the ribs even though I'd intended to have pizza. Wasn't disappointed. Very meaty and cooked to perfection. Side of home made beans and real mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, great beers on tap. Wonderful interior, a real old west saloon. Great service

So much food! Great prices for the amount you get. Sesame ginger soy popcorn chicken was really good...maybe just a little less soy or maybe I was just really sensitive to the salt that day, still really good and the basket of fries was huge! My husband really enjoyed the tri-tip philly sandwich and we got a bbq chicken pizza to go that was really good. Friendly staff.

Normal evening just walked in to sit down. Waited for our waiter but just stood there staring at us. Never once came over to check on us.We wait 15 minutes then walked out. We called in our complaint said he would comp out meal and said he thought we had a go to order. Well if you just walk over and talk to us you would have know for what we want. This is the frist screw up. Second one was my husband. Being locals we thought we would give him other try. My husband walked sat with some friends he knew waiting for the waiter. He never came and said he was freaking busy needless to say we didn't get dinner from them that night and haven't been back since. Owner need to work on this attitude if he wants to stay in busy.

We both had the fish and chip dinner here at the Oxbow restaurant and it was very tasty. The salad bar was also good. A good place to eat.

What an amazing little restaurant off the beaten path.My husband had a salad and I had a burger. The salad was super fresh with yummy ingredients and the burger and sweet potato fries were perfect.We finished off our meal with amazinh homemade pecan pie. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Prairie City.
