Sammie's has been hit and miss for me since they opened. Burgers are sometimes overcooked, fries undercooked, half the time something is broken (milkshakes). However, I went through last night and had the most watered down Milkshake I've ever been handed, and that was the last straw, Sammie's is now a hard no for me.

So I stopped by Sammy's to give their breakfast a shot. This was the 2nd time I tried there breakfast. The first time they were out of things. I thought I'd give them another shot. I ordered sausage eggs and hash browns. When I got to the window I told them I wanted over medium eggs, and I heard the cook say, I already broke the yolks. I said well make me two more. When they gave mey breakfast, they said, that will be 2 more dollars for the 2 eggs they broke.I was taken aback, but just paid the two dollars. When I got home and looked at my eggs, they were overcooked rubber. Check out my pics. I won't eat there ever again and will tell everyone of my experience. The biscuit for the biscuits and gravy were as hard as rocks. I don't know how anyone can screw up breakfast this badly and to charge me for eggs they screw up and then to serve me this. They take no pride in their food. Avoid them.

There was one person working, they didn't have anything we wanted and we kept having to change our order, we were there for an hour and food was inedible. It all just looked and smelled bad and some of it didn't even look fully cooked. Waste of time and money. The girl working also the while rime I could hear her yelling and screaming inside. Felt I like it shouldn't have been a restaurant. And didn't look clean. Won't ever go again.

Great burgers ? and fries ?. Family owned and when we want a fast lunch they get my business ?.

Amazing food, I hate bleu cheese but Jesse's blue cheese wings are the bomb, if you are passing through town and stop here you will remember the meal

Monday evening situation at the new hyw 26/212 location:3 cars ahead of us... 35 minute wait for 2 burgers n fries and 2 milkshakes (which were brought out 20 min before food)Food:The food itself was not bad... But... Both burgers were double patty and on both burgers one patty was super pink (rare) and the other was no pink (well done). Both also included tomatoes which were asked to not be on. Both had very soggy bottom buns. The fries, OK fresh cut fries, so not super crispy (wobbly) but browned like they should be crispy (wrong oil temp?). Not cold fries, not hot fries, but warm fries (warm is being nice).Flavor:The flavor of both burgers and fries was good but nothing to write home about especially with a 35 minute wait. The shakes were shakes, hard to mess them up in my opinion besides consistency. No, they were no finished by the time the food arrived so yes they were like drinking somewhat cold melted icecream. To know...their soda is in cans at fountain prices. I get it, it's a new location maybe struggling for staff...but I can get a way better fresh cooked burger and faster at East Wind Drive In located in Cascade Locks. It's also a smaller location with a constant line yet no long waits for food.Returning:Will we return? Maybe if I have the time and am curious if the quality has improved... But I'm in no rush.

Great food. It's not fast food and there is no dine in. Drive through only.

Over cooked breakfast Sammy multiple times! I really tried. Hamburger worse than dairy queen, i wont spend another hard earned dollar there. "Silver ligning" friendly service. OI!

Since they have opened the taste of the burgers just isn't the same and I waited to give my review just to see if maybe they would switch back but sadly, no. I haven't tried any of the breakfast items so I cannot vouch for those but I have tried quite a few different things. The chicken sandwiches are chicken patty like with a reminder of the school lunches we had a kids. The cheesesteaks are very messy and just not what you expect to get when you order it. The fries are always good, as well as the shakes and fried twinkies. Fried pickles could definitely use some more tweaking for the breading and slicing as they always seem to be more dough than pickle. Elephant tails are more so bread consistency than funnel cake like. Pretzel bites seem to be cooked in the same fryer as the sweet stuff so they have a sweet taste to them. Chicken tenders are decent but from what others are saying it seems it can be a hit or miss with the cooking time being right. I try to be fair to every place I leave a review for and I've waited until they've opened until now. Just critique.

Me and my brother went to Sammy tonight at 1:15 ish I ordered a bbq chicken sandwich and my brother ordered the buffalo bacon ranch wings we came home and the onion rings look like this very soggy and nasty and the chicken was RAW!!!! Literally RAW!! I went back around 1:25 am and asked the employees one was the son of the owner of the company the other was a man wearing a dead pool hat and when I asked him to look at what he gave us witch was rawChicken he threatened to punch me in the face ! This is very unprofessional and disrespectful we asked for a refund and after 10 minutes of arguing we finally got one ! This is still against so many health codes for a company to this and to have employees who threaten to hit a CUSTOMER WHO PAYED FOR THERE SERVICE ! Absolutely disgusting I can’t believe the service I just witnessed and received absolutely terrible I do not recommend a single soul to to eat at this restaurant!!!!! Terrible service !

Not to be rude. I have not eaten at your establishment yet but can you explain the post of picture I saw from last night of what looked like undercooked chicken wings? Was wanting to stop by and try a burger but saw that so now I have some concerns?

Way better than McDonalds and other options in town and a great place to eat late at night.Sammy's was pretty good when they first opened but due to inconsistent staff it went downhill quickly. After they remodeled and rehired new staff the food is much much better. No soggy burger buns, fries are cooked through, prices are good, soda in a can no fountain, and they are 24/7. Been a fan since day one. They did fall off a bit but they came back better than ever! If you stopped having sammys after a first time or just noticed the quality degraded you should try them again because I think they really turned things around :) definitely better than mcdonalds!

I’ve been to Sammy’s five times now.. first time for milkshakes for the family, every milk shake was correct but all had a weird tangy taste like the ice cream went bad.. oldest kid finished his and didn’t get sick, so I’m not sure what was up with that. Other times got milkshakes and they were great.Second time to Sammy’s, they got everything right on the order but the fries were super grease logged.Third time they got my burger completely wrong and fries still were grease logged,Fourth time they got my burger wrong again.. fries not good..Fifth time they got my breakfast sandwich wrong, BUT the fries/potato’s were incredible this time. There’s some kinks to be worked out with communication etc but over all it’s the only 24/7 spot in a what 30-50 mile radius? Great milkshakes

Burgers are always good. I don't love the breakfast it's a an little greasy for my liking. Fresh cut fries and jojo's. Huge milkshakes. Friendly staff. Great prices
