Best burger, fries and milkshake we’ve had in decades! The burgers were absolutely delicious. We ordered a double cheeseburger and a double bacon cheeseburger, or should I say HUBCAPS!! They were enormous, thick and grilled to perfection. They make their own relish, fry sauce, potato salad,chili, soups and they hand cut their fries every morning. You read that right. Every. Morning.
The toppings were fresh and crisp, the buns were hearty and didn’t become soggy from the burger and condiments. They held up perfectly.
Shayna and Maria are the best examples of what makes hometowns great. Even though Prineville has exploded over the last decade - these two ladies have kept that small town vibe alive and well.
So - if you’re looking for a step back in time when burgers were actually BURGERS - milkshakes were made from actual MILK - and fries were made from, wait for it, HANDCUT POTATOES - you have to treat yourself and your family.
And you can’t beat the diner vibe replete with round stools and a lunch counter that screams “Woolworth’s”!
These are the memories that make life great. And delicious.

We used to live in Pineville. This is one of our favorite places to stop and eat and every time we come back to visit this is where we look forward to come. This time was different. We went in. We had our shakes. We ordered our fries and chili cheese. Then we noticed something. The prices didn’t match on the menu and when I brought this to the attention of the girls working there, they told us the menu was wrong. Your receipt is right so just pay it when we sat and figured it out. I understand it’s a lot six dollars but six dollars is a lot these days And when they dismissed us like that, it was kind of sad but then we realize there must be new owners, and if this is how they’re running their business I definitely wanted to get on here and let everybody know their prices do not match their menus and you are being charged differently. They don’t announce this and then when you bring it to their attention. It’s too bad just pay This is unacceptable. This is called representative cells or they are telling you is one thing and then charging you something different. Our chili cheese fries are supposed to be 625. They charge us eight dollars for tater tots. It was supposed to be six they charge us 7 miles to say the food was terrible to begin with the tater tots were overcooked and beyond Beyond salted the chili cheese fries was just a fries, warmed up chili thrown over a plate of fries and some cheese that was didn’t even get hot enough to melt the cheese. Needless to say we didn’t finish, but we did take our shakes knowing that we’ll probably never go there again.

The atmosphere isn't much, but it has been around a lot of years. The ham and Swiss burger was very good. The tots are a must have. They even have fry sauce. Tuesday is taco day and they make the salsa fresh every Tuesday morning.

I liked it, the food and atmosphere, but thd fries were too little, compare to others were getting despite tipping them..may be they ran out for little? But anyway, I enjoyed the chicken strips. I ordered a California Burger and it was the worst burger I’ve ever had! Looked as if the burger was sitting under a heat lamp instead of made to order, the cheese is see thru and hardly any lettuce and disgusting tomatoes on it! I also order chili cheese fires and got no cheese and nasty looking fries. Never coming back here!

This place used to have really good burgers but not today. The older lady (you better not be the owner!) made eye contact with me and ignored me and didn't acknowledge I was waiting. A lovely young lady saw and helped right away. The young lady gets a 5 stars for service. We ordered 3 burgers. All 3 patties were extremely dry and over cooked! And the buns were burnt. Overly heavy on the mayo and barely veggies completely falls apart because the same old lady was making the food. The bacon was so burnt you can't even eat it. Our entire order was not editable and it was $40, McDonald's would have been better! Poor food quality, will not return, and do not recommend anyone getting their burgers.

I had the most generous root beer float in the long & storied history of floats! It was served extremely quickly and was just what I needed after hiking on the Painted Hills trails! They also have an extensive menu. Do yourself a favor and bypass McD’s or DQ & head for Tastee Treet!
