Over the years was a great place. Only reason for attitude is. Beckies used to be open for breakfast and supper. Now who ever has it has the yuppie city attitude and I've spread the word, due to hour

We drove there specifically to try her pies as I was told they were great. Walked inside and the fellow behind the counter was pleasant enough when I asked what flavors and prices for a slice. He pointed to a blackboard and said everything is posted and someone would be over right away to take my order. I said, before we go further, can you tell me how the pie crust is made as I am vegan. He replied that Beckie pie wasn't in my future as its made with lard.
So that was the end of my Beckie pie experience. He did let me use the bathroom before I left . The place looked cozy. I didn't try any other food as there wasn't anything else suitable for a vegan
Dietary restrictions: There are no options for vegetarian or vegan diets as everything is animal-based. Even the pie is made with lard.

This is not the swell place it used to be. We were camping at Union Creek Campground in our RV for multiple nights in mid October 2024. A very uncrowded time of year. Except weekends when Crater Lake Rim Drive is still open. Then it gets busy.
I was looking forward to eating at Beckies at least once for old times sake. Beckies could not handle the crowds of people that stopped here as it's literally the only place to eat for miles. There were a lot of people waiting outside to eat. So I just ate my own delicious camp food. But I did stop in twice to get the famous pie to go. There are many people who stop here just for a piece of pie-a la-mode, it's a tradition... First time the snappy unfriendly waitress was so mean I just left, not worth it. Second time I got the very nice young man. And got my boysenberry and cherry slices. Not as good as it used to be. It was more just flavored fruit jelly with no actual berries. The cherry was better. Darn, I miss the old, fun roadside Diner experience.

What a wonderful gem! Hands down
a must if you are passing through. Service was great, food was fresh hot and home made. The chicken pot pie can feed two! But whatever you do, save room for pie. Big selection of homemade pies.

Exceptional service, great food. I was most impressed with how clean it was, especially for being a log cabin.

They do not serve breakfast anymore! We were here a week ago and they told us they only serve breakfast on Saturdays. We showed up on Saturday and they said they don’t serve breakfast anymore and management doesn’t know when or if they are serving it anymore and it’s on a whim.

This place is so cool and the food is actually amazing. It gets busy but they keep it moving so it’s always worth the wait. The pretzels are absolutely delicious along with all the food we got. The pie is also great and what they are known for so try it. Service and staff were all fantastic and the food came out quick.

What a great find after a day of hiking! We ordered burgers that were delicious. The restaurant has been in operation for almost 100 years and is known for its homemade pot pie and pies. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough room to try the pies….definitely our loss. Highly recommend. Update - we went back later in the day and got 2 slices of the very berry pie to go…best decision ever!

Great pie, it may be owned by a large corporation, but the pie is sooooo good. Pie is as good as it was a decade ago when I went regularly.
