I'm not really understanding the appeal. Although I am not yet a member of the Eagles Lodge, I grew up with two parents who were, and my Father still is. Seeing as I just rejoined the Moose, and i will be joining the El k s Lodge next month. I was excited to spend a couple of hours on the 4th of July with my Dad, just mingling and meeting folks. Plus, it was only a 15-minute drive from my home. So first off, they get points for being open on Independence day, as neither of the aforementioned lodges were. Also quite a few nice new VP machines. But the 2 well drinks we ordered were more expensive than any bar from Rainer to Scappoose as was the Halibut fish and chips and, yes I checkd.The food ok but not for the price. Whats the appeal to pay dues here? No picnic, nothing fresh....sysco type food. Made by the bartender. Great view of the river but not that great. Ended up driving to Gobel Tavern spending half as much on the same drinks and had a much better time. Sorry but I will not be joining this club. Not impressed ?

Hidi is the worst bartender I've ever experienced her drinks are horrible and her customer service is less then mediocre. Her attitude is poor and she's extremely rude. I watched her smile in a customer's face then as soon as they were gone she talked very disrespectful about them. The other people there are friendly just not her I have to call to see who's working because I will not go there when she's on shift. I'm very disgusted with her child like behavior.
