Excellent service by Conner/Collin (now my brain is gone along with my hearing). My friends came from Portland. He exceeded our expectations! The food is always excellent at both locations, but converting the (historic?) old FIRESIDE to BALDY'S make the Redmond location my choice of the two. I've been going to eat at your place since it opened in Bend. You are equal to places open my more years.

The ribs, brisket, & beans all tasted fantastic! Unfortunately, the food was cold. The beans might have been slightly warmer than the spoon. The rib bones weren't refrigerator cold, but they actually were colder than the meat! Nothing was even lukewarm. The waitress was moderately friendly, but not at all attentive. We were halfway through our meal before she came to check on us. When my sister told her the food was cold, she did offer us new plates, but as I said, we were already halfway finished and refused. She didn't seem to be concerned that we were dissatisfied.

I love this place for its amazing ribs and brisket.We have been here a couple of times,I'm giving 3 stars for this visit for several reasons, the food IS GREAT. But it came cold. The ribs, the brisket, and the baked beans were literally cold (beans had a hint of warmth).Our waitress brought the food and disappeared. I had asked for extra napkins which she never brought. I ran out of water and got more only when I snagged her from walking off again after I told her the food was cold. She did ask if we wanted new plates but too much time had gone by. Who knows how long it would be before we saw her again. We ate our food cold because we didn't have time to return it, and I refused to go looking for our waitress.

If your a meat eater, then this place is for you. I highly recommend the brisket and ribs combo, you will not be disappointed. Plus lots of free parking.
The staff was friendly and wait times were reasonable.Unfortunately the food was lacking. The brisket was dry and rubbery. There was little smoke flavor. The burnt ends suffered the same problem. The baby back ribs were slightly better, but still on the dry side.

Had a nice Friday evening dinner.Staff was friendly and quick to take care of customers.They have done a good job converting the building into a comfortable restaurant.Nice outdoor patio with fireplace.Lots to choose from on the full bar menu.Dinner was a prime rib with all the sides and a buffalo chicken salad.Both were really good. To much to eat so we've got lunch for the next..We will be back again..?
