Every table was dirty and there were two people working. The bagel was dry and hard.

Tasty bagels at a great price. The sandwich was huge, very tall and packed with fresh ingredients, and a great value.

While walking up to the shop I noticed three separate groups eating their bagels in their cars. Upon walking in I understood why. Place was a mess, crumbs on the back counter along with dirty utensils, and the register counter was also covered in crumbs. Not a single customer or employee in sight. Atmosphere was bleak and very unwelcoming, I don't even think they had music playing. A little bit later I waited for an employee to slowly make their way over to acknowledge they had a guest, never smiling and obviously very unhappy to be there. Took my order (cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese) and told me to wait at the register.
Total was $4.50, left a tip and noticed it was more than they quoted so I texted my receipt. Yup, credit card fees being passed to their guests without a sign that I could find. Maybe it was there or I was just so focused on the mess everywhere. Good business practice, don't charge your guests for paying you for product. Build it into the cost of doing business.
Left the shop and went on my way. As soon as I got home I dug in, noticing that the outside of the wrapper had soft onions and poppyseeds stuck to it. My cinnamon raisin bagel also came with pieces of onion stuck around it. Not a good combination to have onion in every bite of my cinnamon bagel. Can only assume it was from using a dirty utensil to cut the bagel or placing it on a dirty counter.
I'm not sure why Big O Bagels is still around. Have yet to have a great experience here. Maybe it's because they are the only bagel shop in town which is the only reason I went in, definitely for the last time. I'd rather drive all the way to Bend to get a decent bagel.

Didn't warm the bagels nor cut them
Edit: I have been back 3 times since this review 1 out of 3 of those times they forgot to put something on my bagel so most the time they have gotten it made correctly. If your order is messed up the owner said they will fix it but I am usually in too much of a hurry so don't check and hope it's right. I'd still suggest checking out before you go if it's not something they normally make. I'd still suggest coming here as their bagels are tastey. The staff is usually very nice, however they only get my order right about half the time which is very frustrating at times. When they do get it right it is great, just make sure to check your order before leaving.

First time I have gone to Big O Bagels and am very satisfied, portion was good . I got a bagel sandwich and it was stuffed with the good stuff. I can see myself becoming a regular.

I love the variety of bagels they offer but you've gotta get there early to get your favorites.

If you like bagels equivalent to the texture of razor blades this place is for you! Over $10 for a bagel and it hurt to chew. I’ve never had a soft bagel from here.

The bagel sandwiches were just ok. There needs to be more egg, cheese, meat on the bagels. The service was not good. Four people working—nobody smiled—everyone seemed annoyed—no customer service at all. The employees need help understanding how to manage things so they aren’t all trying to do the same tasks.

Today two nice young girls were busy with a big group of high school kids and were still being kind and made my bagel amazingly.
makayla (blue hair) is unwelcoming, rude, and unbelievably slow. gave us the wrong bagel and took up to 15 minutes to make.
