My husband and I came here on a recommendation from my in-laws who have lived here for most of their lives. We are both Celiac and usually breakfast is the best thing to be able to eat out. This is an old house converted to a restaurant and the decor looks exactly what you’re expecting. Cute country decor style throughout. You have the option to eat upstairs but everything is packed in tight because it is an old house, so we chose to stay downstairs.I had the steak and eggs and my husband had their large special meat scramble which was like an eggs Benedict. We were able to substitute our bread for gluten free bread. Bread was really delicious but you only get one small slice already slathered with butter and a side of jam. We weren’t given an option. There is no kids menu so we were offered food off the “light side menu” for our two kids. Pancakes had a good buttery crisp edge and was a decent portion size and the bacon was a standard thin slice bacon you can buy at any grocery store. My steak was cooked medium rare, how I asked. Nothing extra special as far as breakfast goes. Our hash browns were the best thing on our plate. What we didn’t like was how unfriendly everyone working there was and how loud it got. There’s no sound absorption in the room so the people talking around us echoed ridiculously loud. We had to raise our voices to talk and I heard everyone’s conversations. It was almost uncomfortable to be in there. I asked for condiments and they never came so I had to go finally ask for them at the kitchen counter/register area. When I got up there I wasn’t acknowledged although you could see openly into the kitchen and both cooks just stared at me. There were only two waitresses whom seemed to be serving the entire restaurant. I found it odd neither of them seemed interested in being friendly or welcoming. We waited for the check but it never came so we all went to the register instead. The waitress had no idea where our actual check went. So they gave me what seemed like a random total and the bill was close to 60$ for 3 meals. We didn’t argue over it because we just wanted to leave. In the end, despite the issues we did like the food. Not sure it was special enough to go back to ever again.Dietary restrictions: Bonus points for having gluten free food.ToastWaffleSconesCinnamon Roll muffin/scone

We have beenhere quite a few times since we moved to Redmond in 2020. This time it was upsetting! We came in and it was a full house. We were asked if we had put our names on the list. We said we had not. The waitress then got the list and placed our name on it. We were the only one on it at the time. Then a group came in about 8-10 mins after us us and a table got up and left and another waitress seated that group at the opened table, with no regard to us!Then we got the excuse that she didn't check the list! How was that our fault. We did what they request and we're the ones that were penalized! We left!

Everything was good except the pie. I had a berry one and was more of a custard.

Great place to grab breakfast. The biscuits, cinnamon rolls, French toast and other baked goods are excellent. Coffee is good and gets refilled promptly. Omelets and other egg dishes are standard breakfast expectations. Nice that they are able to seat larger groups upstairs.Kid-friendliness: Although they don’t have a kids menu, they have a lighter side menu, which is the same as kids menu!

We were so excited to see the vegan options. The waitress was nice. But she never came to check on us after we got our food. My burger bun was burnt, I was told it had mayo and it had thousand island type sauce. That was a quick fix if my server had checked back. I tried to eat the patty alone. It was unseasoned. Our vegan dish was also bland and unseasoned. The idea was great. The place was cute. There was no attempt to resolve the issue. The check was dropped with the food, however I was not informed we needed to pay at the register and being upstairs I wasn’t able to see that. Over all disappointing.

I stopped by here for breakfast before leaving town. I got the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs, and my girlfriend got a cheese omelet with bacon added. The biscuits were huge and were perfect. The gravy was spot on. It's definitely a top-notch biscuit and gravy. The omelet looked pretty delicious, and she didn't say much as she devoured her food. Definitely stop in here for breakfast if you're in the area. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
