I ordered a lot from here, there are definitely good days and bad as they get a lot of deliveries to do, but today I had to call to verify status because the online was saying it was bouncing between being made and in quality check, I was told it was out for delivery, never got a knock on my door the app updated and said delivered at 8pm so my pizza sat outside for 20 minutes in the cold. This is only the second time this has happened but really wish they would at least knock and I know they didnt because my dog would have lost her mind if they did.

I don't have any issues with the food but the last few times I've ordered food to be delivered to my house, the driver barely knocks. I don't mean I want them to knock repeatedly but I mean they will only knock once and it's so quiet. Most times I don't even hear it I just happen to check my notifications and that's how I find out my food has been delivered and has now been sitting on my front porch for like 5-10mims

Placed an order online for family members out of state. After 3 hours the pizza was never delivered. We’ve now been on hold for over 30 minutes and NO ONE has answered a phone. We’ve attempted to call from several phone numbers and no one will pick up a phone. At this point we just need our money back.. I hope someone sees this and saves themselves the time and stress of dealing with this incompetent business.

The only issue that I have with Domino's they don't have the common sense to tell the drivers the park away from the building to let the customers park at the building

Uncooked Dough Pizza Incident

I recently ordered a pizza and a few other items through the Domino’s app for pickup. Upon arriving at the store, I retrieved my pizza and other items, and drove home. Upon returning home, I took a bite of the pizza and discovered that it contained uncooked dough.

I contacted Domino’s, and the manager (who I believe was not the actual manager based on the fact that when I went back there, there was no manager who was a women there, as when I called the women I spoke to told me she was the manager! And when I got there, the only two managers there, were men.) informed me that I would need to return to the store with the pizza to receive a refund.

I drove back to the store, which took approximately 25 minutes one way, only to be informed that Domino’s does not offer refunds for uncooked pizza. (Confused me, as when I got there to begin with, and told the manager who came to help me, that I was told I had to come in to get a refund for the uncooked pizza, who looked at the pizza himself, was baffled at first that I was told I had to come all the way back in to get a refund, but then later said, they don’t do refunds).

I was definitely perplexed by this decision, as I had wasted 25 minutes driving to the store and would have to waste another 25 minutes driving back home, due to this error. The manager (who I believe was the actual manager this time) called over his manager. That manager informed me that the pizza I had was cooked properly and in my opinion, implied that it was my fault. I was advised that if I desire the dough to be cooked more thoroughly, I should specify ā€œwell doneā€ when ordering the pizza.

Domino’s did provide me with a new pizza, which was properly cooked. I eat pizza quite frequently, particularly recently, as I have developed a craving for it. Additionally, pizza is a staple food in our lives, and I have never encountered uncooked dough in a pizza before, to this degree. I am well aware of the distinction between cooked and uncooked dough.

Despite my efforts to rectify the situation, I was not compensated for the additional 50 minutes of wasted time, the time spent waiting for a new, properly cooked pizza, and the overall feeling of being wronged and being implied that I should have put well done if I wanted a actual PROPERLY cooked pizza. While I acknowledge that customers are not always in the right, I have had numerous positive experiences with Domino’s over the years, and this incident stands out as an exception.

I am compelled to rate this Domino’s pizza experience with a 1 star. While the pepperoni breadsticks and soda were good and edible, the uncooked dough (the MAIN COURSE) & in my opinion, the manager implying I was wrong and should have put well done, really gave me a bad taste! (I didn’t know I had to put well done to not get uncooked raw dough!) Also for the fact that they didn’t offer and rather was told they do not give refunds EVER, even if they make the mistake! Bad business practice in my opinion.

Placed order online. After an hour, call the store for an update since the tracker has said it would be within the next 5 minutes for 20 minutes now. Couldn’t locate my order. Sit on hold for 5 minutes, they say ā€œI haven’t found it, I’m gonna go check the routing stationā€. On hold for 5 more minutes. Now they say ā€œ I’m still trying to find it please bear with me. On hold 5 more minutes. Finally it’s ā€œIt hasn’t been made yetā€. At least they agreed to refund my purchase, but we won’t be ordering again.

Delivered wrong pizza. Said they could not refund and would deliver the correct pizza in 50 minutes. I told them that was unacceptable and that they owed a refund, and the manager told me he would not do it ā€œthat there is a real cost to making foodā€ and hung up on me.

Delivery people are always friendly. The store is open late (past 9!), and is one of the few places in St. Helens that delivers (I’m not paying UberEats rates).

When the pizza is good, it’s GOOD. The problem is that the quality is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s hot (I burnt my mouth and chin badly once), sometimes it’s obviously been sitting on the counter or in the back of a car going on other deliveries. Sometimes the crust has garlic seasoning on it (pretty much the best part of the pizza), sometimes none at all, which is seriously disappointing. Sometimes there’s hardly any sauce, so I started asking for extra and I have to wipe tablespoons of sauce off onto my plate.

As a general rule, this Dominos is VERY, VERY stingy with their toppings. I’m talking 12 olive slivers on a medium. I went to order extra olives and they want to charge $1.20 for it. Any other pizza place would give more than what Dominos considers extra.

A few other things that I’ve had issues with: incorrect orders more than once, waiting on the phone for over an hour before (trying to get them to replace the wrong pizza), and they calculate the suggested tip amounts based on the order AND the high delivery fee, which is $2 more than it used to be (I live 2 minutes from the store, and yes, there is a reason I can’t get over there and pick up the pizzas, but the delivery fee is ridiculous now). When I choose to tip based on just the order amount, it makes me look cheap. It’s scammy to include the delivery fee in the tip calculation. EDIT they just raised the cost of delivery to $6.49. That’s a raise of $3.48 in 5 years. And they charge tip based on the increased delivery fee, so it’s even more. Not to mention the pizza costs more now.

Delivery is kinda meh if you dont live in city limits, but otherwise fantastic. Best value of any Chain pizza place locally. My family would say its a close 2nd after Papa Murphy’s locally. Always taste great, this cheese bread is fantastic.

Blows my mind how it can take 2 hours for a single medium pizza. Needs new management, I can’t see how a 2 hour delivery is acceptable by any standards. Their inability to meet even the simplest expectations is remarkable.
