I'm visiting from Illinois, so it's my first time here. I stopped to pick up dessert when visiting family. This is a cute little shop with seating. Beautifully made cupcakes with amazing flavors. The cupcakes are put together when you order. So you pick your flavor of cake, then your flavor of icing. It was fun.I highly recommend the lemon flavors. The guys that waited on me were fantastic. Not only did they do an amazing job putting together my order, but because I walk with a cane and I wasn't sure if I could carry everything without dropping it, one gentleman carried my items to my vehicle, even though I was over a block away. Now that's service! This is a place I would come to often if I lived here.

The cupcakes were dry. I make much tastier ones at home.

Service was ok But: I ordered 4 salted Carmel and 4 red velvet cupcakes and when I walked in they were nice but the lady who was dealing with my order was asking a lot of questions about my cupcakes and what I wanted. She had to ask several times to double check that it was red velvet and the cupcakes were all gluten free vegan. I go home and the red velvet are chocolate not red velvet. These cupcakes are expensive so that's why I'm upset about it. I paid 32.00 for just 8 cupcakes. I sent a picture to management showing that it was in fact chocolate but she was denying it saying their red velvet is sometimes dark which to me is an excuse to get out of comping the customer and come to find out the so called red velvet are not gluten free vegan. They told me they wouldn't do free cupcakes or a refund. Definitely unprofessional and not good about comping customers. If I would have thought that red velvet would be dark which it wasn't when I've ordered in the past, I wouldn't of ordered red velvet. Definitely don't recommend this cupcake Cafe and they will be losing a lot of business because I know a lot of people and have friends that go there often.

I have coordinated multiple weddings that have chosen Ida's to cater the dessert. Not only are these ladies easy to work with, but they are so helpful. Upon arrival, they set up the dessert table with all of their own platters and labels (upon request). They are in and out before you know it. I have had so many different types of their cupcakes, and can honestly say I have loved every single one! The bite-sized cupcakes are a great way to go to ensure your guests can try more than one of the delicious flavors they offer.

Spent over a week trying to order a small cake, playing phone tag with the “wedding coordinator” who wasn’t there half the time, and then only to be disappointed by the cake(which I know they have done better in the past).

Staff was nice and welcoming, but cupcakes were okay.

I ordered four different cupcakes and was expecting to get the displays but got all them with the same frosting! Generate looking! Very disappointed! Too much for ordinary cupcakes!

I just left Ida‘s, without a cupcake, and I feel like I just left an episode of Portlandia. It feels like a parody to enter the premise. The mask mandate ends on Friday, I didn’t have one on my person, they gave me one and I put it on and held it out a bit away from my face to speak. The gal behind the counter, who’s probably only 20, backed way against one side of the wall and acted terrified that I would be spreading germs. I asked her what she was going to do when the mask mandate ends on Friday and that we need a deal with reality now. She informed me that she felt unsafe so she went to get a coworker to help me. People of her age category, even with pre-existing conditions, have a three in one million chance of death due to COVID. I am done with this insane virtue signaling and I would rather support businesses who operate within the bounds of reality. Earlier experiences with Ida’s had been similar but this one really takes the cake!

Katie and I were excited to try the mini-cupcakes at Ida's, but that excitement soon diminished. Maybe the shop was having an "off" day, but in the service and hospitality industry you do not get that luxury. Our three, primary suggestions for improvement: *The counter staff need to work on their customer service skills, especially when it comes to listening *The bakers need to work on making cupcakes that are moist, not dry -- our dozen tasted like sand *The ambience is lovely but a thorough walk-through with a duster & rag would be appreciated What disappointed us the most, however, was the price point. We get it. These are gourmet cupcakes; they should be spendy. BUT when you charge an arm and a leg for gourmet cupcakes, patrons should taste the "wow" factor in spades -- even on an "off" day. Cinnabon will serve you better, dear reader, and they won't drain your wallet. We guarantee it.

Delicious cupcakes. Fantastic flavors. Amazing options. Love the stop in and grab some cupcakes option for those last minute times you just need a cupcake. Gluten free cupcake options...you'd never know they're GF, they're seriously the best!

Given a gift card but store unable to read the card. Drove 48 miles one way to be disappointed. The young sales girl had a middle school aged vocabulary and over-used ‘like’ one too many times.

Nice staff, nice clean shop. Fast efficient service and the cupcakes are amazing! We tried vegan and non vegan...both moist, flavorful and delicious

Delicious! They were busy for Valentine’s Day, but gave excellent customer service! Next time I will pre-order, but this time I ordered a few of the gourmet cupcakes they had left. They are beautiful and delicious! The cream cheese frosting is my favorite

I absolutely love this place when im able to actually get service... i have been trying to buy cupcakes here for the past 3 months and still havent been able to buy any. Every time i show up they are either closed despite being in hours they claim to be open, or i am told that they are not doing walkins but im welcome to buy something from the fridge. I would happilly buy something from the fridge at this point but i have celiacs and they dont stock it with any gluten free options. I actively l9ve this place and hope staffing gets better soon, i will not stop coming in hopes i can buy something.
