Very enjoyable dining experience. Family atmosphere with a laid back & relaxed seating area. Nice cocktails & good cold beer selection. This Mexican food is just like my tía would make when I was a young man. They had great service, too. Little family business. More folks should try this place. They really are that good. Besides, they're local & running a fantastic business. Come support La Fondita!

This place was a lot better when it first opened but has gone way downhill in service and taste quality of food. Also the timing of getting the plates out was awful my whole party was done eating before one person even got there dood

We love La Fondita! We try and visit every other week. Slightly slow on the service but oh so worth the wait!! Cocktails r great and the food is delicious Yummy salsas! The ladies there r so nice ? family owned and operated. Be patient with them, fresh food prepared daily

Great food!!.... but serving staff sucks ....charge you 18% on your bill for tips and have on the side another tip jar... I don't mind giving a good tip if it's good service...

The best meal I’ve had in a LONG time. Starting with the homemade chips and salsa. Then the house (orange) margarita with Chamoy. Then the entree! I got the Plato Fondita and my husband got the Quesadilla platter. Everything on each of our plates was exceptional. My husband was especially happy that our platters came within whole fresh roasted jalapeños. Flavorful, fresh, and skillfully made. Plus the service was awesome too, our waitress patiently answered all my questions about the menu. A true gem in Redmond. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu!

Had a late lunch (~2:00 p.m. on 5/12/2021). There was one other couple finishing up when we arrived. When you get inside a sign tells you to wait to be seated AND that La Fondita is not a fast-food restaurant. I've got no problem with a "good food takes time mindset". Our server (the best part of the restaurant) was efficient, kind, and communicated well. If only the food was as good. The chips are made in-house and we weren't big fans. They are made of flour, not corn. Two salsas are served. My wife tasted one of them and then put it aside saying, "This is going stale; I can smell the vinegar." We both ordered enchilada-style burritos (chicken for her and carne asada for me). The burritos are huge and come nicely topped with red sauce and cheese. Unfortunately, there is way too much filler (rice and beans) and the protein in both cases was mediocre at best.
