We always have a great experience at the Odem. The food, drinks and customer service are excellent every time!

I've read several of the comments reviewers have written. Many seem more personal than others. Perhaps some people just interact differently with each other - I don't know.I have never had a problem with Ted or Evan (or any of the other employees) during the numerous occasions I have been a patron. Nor have I ever gotten sick from eating their food (and I order food every time). My approach is quite simple - I select the desired film, secure seating in advance online, arrive rather early, give my full name to whoever greets me, place a standard food/drink order, pay and then wait patiently - no problems. I am only there to see a film and have a little dinner. I am not there to cast judgements or make demands. I don't behave as though I am the only person in a room full of others (and other people have always been there whenever I was).I don't know Ted or Evan or anybody there personally. I've only deduced who they are based on what I've read online, usually in reviews of their establishment. Also, do take note, people tend to write more passionate reviews when they're pissed off and, subsequently, give false/misleading interpretations of their experience. So yeah, there you go.

Only went once to see Parasite, however...Owner claims to support Israel and puts pro-Israel stuff all over his windows yet compared Covid-19 mask mandates to the Holocaust during the pandemic. Doesn't play indie or foreign films much anyway, only mainstream films. I wish there was another local movie theater in this town.

Weird spot, I usually try to focus on the positive with a locally ran place. Super weird confrontational service. Odd considering the amount of customers almost equalled the amount of employees, that can't be good. Only a few people in the theatre.A few stars for a nice screen (for a small spot) and great sound system. Posters were great, they seem to know movies, just not customers.Hard skip, tin pan theatre is much lower drama and worth an extra drive as a Redmond resident.

By far my favorite place to see a movie in the area. Killer beer/cider tap list, great sound, cheap popcorn, clean and comfortable every time. And excellent choices of movies to show!

What a fabulous local alternative to the big-box multiplex cinema- factory experience! We recently moved to Redmond and are thrilled we discovered this. Excellent sound and vision quality, great food, it’s super clean (ignore other reviews complaining about this. It’s a historic building, not a mall). Support local businesses with personality like this or all you’ll have left is sanitized, overpriced, junk. Thank you!!! P.S. the popcorn and butter are real - just $3!

Being screamed at and accosted whole watching the movie because you don't tip "enough" is ludicrous. How the owner and his son treat people is rephrensible. I don't understand so many 5 star reviews, but I'm guessing they are paid, know the owners or have only gone once and was lucky enough to tip enough and not make Ted or Evan pissed off for frivolousthings. The son yelled at people waiting outside until he realized they were waiting for a movie and not Carnaval. I read one reply from Ted that stated he had over 8 thousand emails. That's not followers and I wouldn't brag about buying email addresses. That's called SPAM.The son open carries, which I'm am not opposed to, but he is extremely volatile. Does he actually legally carry? We witnessed him chasing down a big family because they didn't tip enough, yelling at the dad and being confrontational in front of their 5 kids! The son is a dangerous human. The concept is great, and the pizza is fabulous! Just not worth being afraid for your life or belittled in front of everyone while you're trying to watch a movie. They are the owners and charge a lot, so why complain about a tip? Do they expect 20% tip for the food AND movie tickets. Also, how do they pass health inspections? The place is pretty gross. We didn't even get popcorn (which is our favorite movie theater treat) because popcorn maker was disgusting, as well as the floors and some of the walls. We felt safe getting pizza since it is cooked, and the sodas seem safe.I got yelled at from the owner's son once because I had my dog in the car while I was standing right by it, and parked in front of their theater. He demanded that I move my car. I didn't realize it was the owner's son until we went there to watch a movie with our five kids and another couple with their 3 kids.Bad business especially in a small town.

Love this little home town theater. Reserved seats, good burgers, beverages, and they delivered right to your chair. I imagine people from out of town may not like it for reasons unrelated to the theater, the food, or the movies being shown. Oh well. I prefer to go to Odem over any other theater in Central Oregon.
Place is absolutely disgusting for starters, the owners son needs an attitude adjustment from being a spoiled entitled brat with the way he acts. The owner himself isn’t too far off. They have absolutely no respect and this is definitely not a family establishment the way they cuss and yell at people in front of kids. This place is a joke, just like its “owners”

Even though both the dad and son seem conservative, they both were super rude to me for absolutely no reason, the kid especially, he was borderline confrontational, if he were to do that to me in a public place it wouldn't be a good thing for him.

The way theybtreat patrons is disgusting. You should be so ashamed of yourselves! Never go here!

Don’t waste your time or money here. Rude owner and his son is worse.
