The quality of the fish is excellent. The sushi overall is excellent. The service really is subpar. Slow service, our server looked overwhelmed and didn't have great personal skills.

Very slow. They say the to go order will be done in 25 min. But when you get there you have to wait another 30 min for them to make your food. What's the point in ordering ahead?

Came here tonight for the first time on a well-needed date with my husband and Oishi did not disappoint! Very polite servers, great quality food, nice atmosphere. It was relaxing and really enjoyable and we had a nice evening. We ate a variety of sushi rolls and they all seemed fresh and well made!

The food was just okay... The yoki soba noodles were the best thing that we tried, but we were really let down with the scallop and shrimp stack/ tower entree way too much mayonnaise had to scrape off the top layer to be able to eat it. We had the crunch Royal and the rainbow roll as well. They were good but nothing special or unique compared to most sushi restaurants.

The food is excellent, we had ramen, black dragon rolls and hurricane rolls, all very good. The service, on the other hand, is not good. We waited for around 30 minutes around 6 pm, and the waiting space is outside on the street. After we got in, we waited for 15 to 20 minutes before the waitress came to order. This is extremely long.

My wife and I had dinner here for our anniversary. Neither of us was impressed. The food was just OK. I thought the serving size was small for what you paid. I won't be back.

Oishi is a Japanese restaurant in downtown Redmond, OR., specializing in sushi, sashimi and noodles.I have been here many times, and this time I finally remembered to take photos! Although, please forgive the few bites taken pre-photo. Every time I've visited I've dined in, and I've seen both busy and slow; and during either or its always been top quality. Decor inside is very detailed, and by not means tacky. Tables and chairs are roomy and comfy with lots of window seating, as it is a corner location. Service is always impeccable and staffed with friendly artisinal people.Sushi is the only activity on the planet that I dont mind doing by myself, but this time I was lucky enough to have the company of my wife. The menu is quite large, with lots of pictures and descriptions. My wife got the popcorn shrimp ($12) and miso soup ($3). I got the 3 item lunch special (11 am - 3 pm) with pork katsu, spicy tuna roll and vegetable tempura. ($16.95) It comes w/salad, rice and miso soup. As if that wasn't enough, I added on salmon sashimi ($16.95) and crispy tofu ($10). My wife ate some of the tempura, but wouldn't share her popcorn shrimp! Everything was absolutely fresh, presented beautifully and delicious.I would highly recommend Oishi for a first date due to the ambience; as a casual group outing due to the sizeable and transformable dining floor; and as a quick bite for a lunch break due to the variety on the menu.

Been going to this place maybe once a year for the past 8 years and have always had a nice experience. It certainly isn't the most high end sushi place, but they have a lot of options and the sushi has always tasted good.

A wonderful Asian restaurant with a great selection of sushi. The sushi is really good and creative with some very solid rolls. Easy for me to recommend.

Best sushi in Central Oregon HANDS DOWN!!! There’s not a sushi restaurant in Bend that comes close to the quality of sushi and presentation that Oishi puts out. It’s by far my favorite sushi restaurant out here to go to.
