We like Black Bear Diners. Unfortunately, they were understaffed, and the staff was untrained on how to serve tables. Basic stuff like being friendly, asking if there was anything needed, spoons for soup, knives to eat with, napkins, bringing our bill, and having someone to take money at the register. Pretty basic. We'll be back. It was probably just a bad day. But some of this is due to lack of training.

Black bear has outdone themselves tonight! Ordered 3 meals via delivery and they went above and beyond! The food was piping hot, well packaged and most important, it was delicious! The restaurant industry can beat us workers down, especially a store open on the holidays but Black Bear didn’t let any of that stop them from providing amazing service tonight!

At one time, this place was a good place to go. In the past 4 months, we have been there twice. Both times, the food has been horrible. There were two waitresses working, the one we had was a younger woman who we have had twice now and both times she has been absent. She would look at us but wouldn't bring us anything unless we caught her walking by. There was another waitress who saw we needed something and came over to help. Now the food.
