I like burrito shops. Some are better than others but by and large it's hard to totally screw a burrito. Unless you're unfortunate enough to go to Taco Del Mar. The girl who tried to serve me was totally lost. Started with asking me if I wanted rice or beans. I said beans please she immediately put rice on it. I politely corrected her, she then proceeded to scraped the rice off the tortilla back into the steam table rice dish. She put beans on it and then as I requested shredded beef unfortunately rather than drain the liquid from the beef with scoop she just threw it on resulting beef juice running off the preparation area in front of her on to the floor and into the steam table!! Disgusting. She acted as if this was normal and ask me what else I'd like on my doggy disgusting burrito!!!. Then when I was stupid enough to actually by the thing she couldn't print me a receipt. Eventually did with the help of her coworker. Got home and food was cold through and through. So threw it out because it was totally gross and for safety.
I had low expectations and they were all met. Woman at the counter was very pleasant. Pity it didn't make the food good.
Built the burrito with different toppings, compared to the other Taco Del Mar locations. Also, the pico was just plain tomato, no onion, salt, etc...
Food looked old, left out all day. Git my burrito, it was room temperature. Really worried I’m gonna get sick. One young guy working by himself. Fo not recommend this place.
My first time food was pretty good
Taco Bell is better. Food is ok but never fresh. Rice was crunchy.
They have horrible customer service and DO NOT practice safe food handling. EAT THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
