So good! Why would anyone eat at the chain restaurant next door when they could eat here? Shrimp tacos were delicious with diced bacon, pineapple and cucumbers and 2 delicious sauces. The guy sitting near me who also dined alone was raving about the ahi on a phone call. The margarita was really nice as well and could have served 2 people as they bring almost a whole other drink out in the shaker. Servers were very nice and everything came out pretty quickly and the restaurant was more than 50% full. A short walk from the Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn and Super 8.

Fantastic food and service - AC bit load

Excellent variety of gourmet Latin foods with unami flavors. There are several tacos, burritos, fajitas, and other dishes. All are available with different meat choices. They also have several steak and seafood selections as well. The camarones and octopus are highly recommended. There are several vegan/vegetarian menu items. The service is fast and friendly, which makes the experience very enjoyable. The atmosphere is just ok but does have indoor and outdoor options. If it were a bit more upscale, it could pass as a fine dining establishment as the food meets expectations. There is a surcharge for debit/credit card sales, which is surprisingly dated in today's age. Overall, I highly recommend.

Amazing seafood but EVERYTHING here is amazing! Their flight of margaritas is an adventure that pairs and complements your meal from appetizer to desert. Best Latin food I have ever tasted! This is a local favorite and worth the wait when busy!

If you’re tired of watered-down Mexican food with tamed flavors, then Xalisco Latin Cuisine is your next stop! This small yet mighty restaurant is a revelation. In a state where authentic Mexican food can be hard to find, this spot delivers an explosive flavor experience that’s anything but ordinary.

The salsa? Incredible. Not the diluted, bland version you might expect, but genuinely spicy and bursting with vibrant, fresh flavors. Each bite felt like a celebration of traditional Mexican cuisine.

The service was fantastic, too—friendly, attentive, and bilingual (English and Spanish), making it welcoming for everyone. Despite the restaurant’s small size, the atmosphere felt cozy, and the attention to detail in every dish made it clear that this place takes pride in its food.

I ordered the 3 empanadas—shrimp, asada, and mushroom—and each one was a masterpiece, perfectly cooked and plated with care. But the highlight? The shrimp tacos. Without exaggeration, they were the best I’ve ever had—succulent, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned.

The prices are fair, especially for the quality and effort that goes into each dish. If you’re a fan of authentic Mexican food with bold flavors, do yourself a favor and visit this spot. It’s a true treasure for food lovers in Oregon.

We started with the Pulpo and the Carne En Su Jugo and finished with the Chamorro. The presentation was great and the flavors screamed of Jalisco, MX specifically Guadalajara. To top it all off the servers were very attentive. After spending years living in Mexico, Xalisco Latin Cuisine is a breath of fresh air for Central, Or, not your basic tacos and burrito type spot, these are true home cooked meals that are worth the 20 min drive north of Bend… Viva Xalisco!!!
