Went here to try some asian food. I tried ‘mongolian togu’, which was delicious. Crispy tofu, with amazing flavour! The mongolian tofu dish is actually for 2-3 persons. It came with steamed rice, which I appreciatex. There was also a lunch menu offer, but several bits of the menu (eg., egg rolls) were not vegan.
Always my choice for my birthday dinner takeout; we get carried away and I happily eat leftovers for days. Favorites include Mu Shu Pork, Crab cheese Wontons, Cashew chicken, Mother’s Tofu, and Honey Walnut Shrimp
I’ve tried the other Chinese here in Redmond and so far this is the best. I got the wontons and sesame seed chicken. The flavor is good and the texture was great. I like my sesame seed chicken a little bit more on the fried crunchyish side. But Yi’s is the happy medium. Still a soft chicken texture with a bit of crunch and a flavor to really carry it. For $20 you get a ton of food. Enough for three normal sized healthy not overweight/obese people.
