The roots run deep! One of the oldest wineries in the valley! They thought he was crazy to grow in Oregon. Girardet is off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. 40 different varieties and unicorns. What else could you ask for? I will definitely visit again.
Great Friendly staff. Also, are the closest to organic wines with no added sulfites that I’ve experienced. 🥂 cheers 🥂

Girardet Wine Cellar is a hidden gem in the Umpqua Valley wine region. This unpretentious and down-to-earth winery offers a personal and intimate tasting experience. The friendly staff provides great service, and the prices are very reasonable for the excellent wines. Visitors particularly enjoy the Barbera, Baco, and Baco Noir. The simplicity of the location and tasting room belies the memorable wine selection, with a good variety of grapes, boasting 40 different varieties. The knowledgeable host, including Chance, is happy to share stories about the wines and the history of the winery, providing a warm welcome. This winery is off the beaten path, but well worth the trip for wine enthusiasts looking for a unique experience. With small production wines that are all delicious, it’s no surprise that many visitors become members.
