New owners seem to be doing a good job, in any business there are hurdles. Sunday brunch is awesome.
They cater to families. Sometimes a bit of a wait for your food but sit and relax on the patio is great

We came here hoping for a nice romantic dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday. We walked in and there was nobody in the building, we could hear the kitchen staff up top, so we walked around to see people seated outside, but no staff. We waited for a while, walking back and forth until we decided to call and they came out of nowhere to greet us. The woman said they didn’t have a host for the night, but she was really nice and told us we could sit wherever. We chose a table outside like everyone else, and were brought water and bread. When it was time to order, the wine we wanted was out, so we ordered another choice, and it was great! The meals though… I wanted chicken Marsala and that was out too, so I went with pasta. My boyfriend ordered a steak and potatoes since it looked good in review pictures. After a while we got our food and instantly were disappointed… My pasta was still hard, undercooked, and didn’t have much flavor but I still tried to enjoy it. My boyfriend steak was so bland, there was no seasoning and it was over cooked. Our silverware and glasses also were super streaky and caked in either dish washing soap, or something. As the other waitress checked on us I told her to watch out for the 6 or so wasps that were flying on us and trying to get our food. She just replied “oh yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if you want to move inside” and walked away. After enough time getting crawled on and our food almost taken over, we started bringing all our food in, by ourselves as the staff just watched from the window inside. If it were me, I probably would have helped my guests instead of watching them trying to balance plates of food, wine glasses and waters. She told us we could leave our empty bread basket and butter knife out there, after we already grabbed it all. We came inside, then flies were all around but we just wanted to finish the meal. The waitress seemed to dislike everyone she was waiting on except for these two other people I’m assuming were regulars. My boyfriend and I left with a big bill (which we expected) but hoped the food would have been worth it… the bread and wine maybe were, and the deep fried pickle appetizers we got seemed fresh. Other than that, it was just sad… I noticed a new management sign, so I’m not sure if it was that, or maybe we caught them on a bad day, but I’m not sure if we’ll be back for a while.

My friend and I had dinner at The Parrott House last night and it was superb. We ordered the smoked pork chop and chicken marsala. Both were delicious. We wanted to try everything on the menu, which apparently is new, as well as the chef who creates it all. Our server was attentive, personable, and friendly. I was told this beautiful establishment is under new management and there have been some changes, based off of customer reviews and I will say this is a place you should revisit if you were disappointed in the past.

Do not go when there is a buffet!!!
I cannot express this any Greater!!
We went for Father’s Day huge mistake. For $45 a person you can get
dark gray tri-tip
Overcooked and dried out mac & cheese
Basically dollar tree bacon
Powdered eggs
Dry as a bone Grandma looking potatoes
Pulled pork that’s been sitting on the counter for five hours straight also dry as a bone
A good old, a quarter of an inch hamburger that should be used as a frisbee instead
Costco hotdogs!! Literally the highlight of the meal
Mixed fruit parfait featuring in the package Yoplait tiny yogurt
A salad bar
An assortment of Costco cookies, and croissants
To top it off somebody who does nothing other than complain about how their coworkers left them alone to make omelettes
Sounds like it’s worth the $45 right…
This place should be ashamed of what they served to dad’s on Father’s Day. Also tried leaving a review on their Facebook, but they can delete those and they did. I guess the owner doesn’t like the responsibility, At least they know how to pick good staff and a good place. But man, you can still tell they’re cheap with the food. Absolutely terrible would not recommend anybody!! Wish I took pictures to prove

Ok we went for to the Fathers Day Brunch and it was so disappointing. When we first arrived we were so excited. The place is beautiful and when I had first placed the reservation I was expecting amazing and classy food. That was not what we got.
Father Day was served Buffet style and it was embarrassing. First everything was OVERCOOKED. My dad does pit BBQ for a living so the second I saw DARK GRAY tritip slices to serve to people I was appalled. Next they served COSTCO hotdogs, fishy fish salad, 1/4” hamburger patties that I would not even feed my dog because of how over cooked they were.
The person who was in charge of cooking omelets spent more time complaining about how his coworkers “ abandon” them.
Although the food to say the least was disappointing and just downright embarrassing. The service is amazing and the place it beautiful. I just don’t recommend the buffet style, I’ve had better food served at IHop
Also it was suppose to be $45 dollars per person?
For what?… a Costco hot dog ($1.50)

sign said open to come eat until 9 o’clock, well me and my family arrived at 7:45 to eat and everything was locked up, the entire building. very disappointed, you should probably update your hours instead of just lying. after reading these reviews tho, it seems like we were saved by the bell and didn’t miss much.

I took my mom here the weekend after Mother's Day for a brunch buffet mostly because I refused to pay the per person charge for the buffet on actual mother's day (almost double) . ... SO, atmosphere was lovely, cute Victorian home and server was pleasant, so I had high hopes for the buffet. My expectations were CRUSHED when I saw the meager selection. Small salad bar, basic selection of breakfast foods (eggs, potatoes, etc) the bacon was guarded by a worker...um ok.not sure why but it was greasy and burnt. They did have an omelet station but it was surrounded by the servers all chatting, using foul language and obviously not doing their job so I skipped the omelet. They had doughnuts but they were cut into fours and the icing was smeared (lovely eww) and for some odd reason there was Taco meat with dried out tortillas (because they were just sitting in the open...cold, stale, no toppings except salsa) I didn't even want to try the microscopic shrimp they had in a bowl that was sitting open in the sun. Thanks but no thanks. It seriously looked like a 5 year old came up with this Buffett selection. So all in all...highly disappointed, would not recommend.

Wow.
How terrible our Mothers Day buffet experience?
At nearly $50.00 a person, the experience was atrocious.
The set up was poor. Buffet food was unlabeled and cold.
Few serving tongs were provided. Most guests resorted to using their fingers.
A large, beautiful three layer tray of meats and cheeses was displayed with only one tong. The cheese blocks were not even sliced for serving.
Silverware could not be found any where. When the waitress finally provided silverware, no spoons were included for stirring our coffee or for eating the yogurt.
Waffles and 1/2 pieces of French toast were served without butter or syrup any where. When seated, we asked for syrup. At some point the syrup was placed at the buffet, we were told to get get back in line and get it ourselves.
Coffee was the only thing hot. When our cups were finally refilled, the waitress placed the lip of the carafe on each of our cups, passing possible viruses with each refill.
The Parrott house has brunch buffet every Sunday. You would think they would have it perfected. We will not return.

New owners, new staff. Mothers day brunch last year was fantastic, this year was chaos, mediocre food, no food, and all around not great. Our server olivia was the only pleasant experience.

We were here for Mothers Day Brunch am. We have only been in the area 2 yrs and this was our first time eating here. When we arrived there was no one to indicate where the food was bring served , we had to ask. When we went to serve our food most of the buffet bins were empty. I had a waffle, yogurt and a few eggs. The food was very sub par and definitely not worth the $45 dollars. Very disappointing..
